When they [Sony] said that PS4 would have more social integration, I was a little woried... I hate Facebook so I was afraid the UI would just turn into something that looked like the mobile Facebook app... I'm very happy with how the social aspect if the PS4 turned out.
Plus, anyone on my friends list who signs in is gonna get to see that I got the Platinum Trophy in Knack this morning before work!
It's very fast paced. It reminded me a lot of the original Timesplitters on PS2 if you ever played that.
Stupid question: did you go into your PS4 settings and register whatever device you have the Playstation App running?

Start up Playroom
Start the mini game with all the tiny robots (I forget what it's called)
Start up Playstation App on iPhone, iPad, or any tablet with it installed
Tap "connect to PS4" in the app
It should work then. All you do then is draw something on your touch screen (while also choosing colors) and then flick your fin...
Can't say anything about 3D world (last Mario I played was a kiosk at best buy in the early 2000's that had sunshine on it and that made me lose all faith in Nintendo) but I love Knack! My first playthrough was on Hard and I was addicted to it. I then played through it 3 times on easy to get all of the crystals and this morning I beat very hard using diamond knack! It's a great game if you grew up playing PS1 and PS2 brawler/ platformers.

The lighting in the latest build of DC is crazy... It is really starting to look like real footage of an actual race... Looks like delaying it a few months is paying off big time!

I'm guessing it means no forced sections where you have to survive wave after wave of zombies...
I'm hoping it means that every encounter will be fight or flight. A real zombie survival game where every scripted encounter feels like you need to make tough decisions with real consequences.

If all you want to do is look at the graphics, save yourself some coin and just watch a bunch of high res gifs.
Just put Gladiator or 300 or Troy on your tv and hold a controller... You'll probably have a better time.

I haven't... I gave up in Nintendo in the early 2000's when they thought Mario with a squirt gun was a good idea.
And Knack is 50/50 platformer and brawler. If it was all brawler I'd compair it to, say, the original Fighting Force (a game that probably 75% of N4G users have no clue about). The platforming sections are small and scattered around the levels. They aren't tough and they aren't shoved down your throat. The game has great balance.
