This is what so many people don’t get. It sucks for the people that don’t get it but it’s how business works. Companies try different things to make their products stand out and be more appealing. I can’t believe how many people are basically saying they want everything the same across the board because then what’s the point of all these consoles?

Although true, the only reason I didn’t include it was because MS doesn’t make their own batteries. I just wish MS made regular batteries so I had the wonderful privilege to buy either MS batteries or an MS rechargeable battery pack.
It’s business as usual. This is a complete non issue and happens in so many industries (pro sports teams paying for the best players, fast food locking in deals with meatless burger companies, auto makers with exclusives deals with audio makers) but suddenly it’s a massive problem now that the “mountain out of a molehill” gaming journalists can make their money (from clicks) by making up controversy.
No kidding! I hate when companies come out with new technology that improves the overall experience. I broke so many DVD players trying to slide VHS tapes into them and don’t even get me started on how many record needles I broke trying to find the groove on my cassettes (RIP Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 soundtrack)...
I guess this all makes sense though to certain fanboys on this site when one company just adds a button to their controller and the other company reinven...

You’re so right Pornflakes! I remember the good old days when the 360 came out and MS gave everyone free HD-DVD drives and free WiFi adaptors and then kept online play free while greedy Sony and Nintendo started that greedy trend of forcing everyone at gunpoint to pay for online. I’m so glad Microsoft is around to show all those other jokers what real value for your money looks like...
