I'm guessing they removed him in order to tweak him a little. He's by far the cheapest character right now. The times that I played with him I easily got at least 10 kills. With everyone else, I usually get 5-8 kills a round.
Just played 3 rounds at work with a coworker watching on my Vita and It looks and plays exactly like the PS3 version!!
Forget GT Vita for now (although it'll probably be a beast when it comes out) and just look at look at the next NFS coming out on Vita... Criterion are putting other developers to shame with what they are achieving

It might be 1/3 the price, but it's also gonna be 1/3 the game. Enjoy those micro transactions if you want to actually be able to win.
You could just buy the new NFS (which is also EA) when it comes out since buying the PS3 version gets you the vita version for free. Not to mention (and I posted this in another article) that Criterion is saying the vita version is the same as consoles.
I'd take the worst Criterion developed game over the best iP...
We (vita owners) don't need these watered down phone racing games since EA is also putting the next NFS on the vita and Criterion is already stating its identicle to the console version.
Plus, if you want a fast paced arcade racer right now for vita, spend the $5 and buy the PS1 classic R4: Ridge Racer Type 4... It's better than the new vita RR and has over 400 cars

Ridge Racer 4 did it also like 15 years ago. Thats my favorite arcade racer of all time, and the GT series is my favorite realistic sim.
Have you guys noticed how each Playstation gets 2 real, full Gran Turismos and the second one is always miles ahead of the one before? The jump from GT1 to GT2 on Playstation was very impressive. GT3 to GT4 was amazing with how many more cars and tracks they added. I can't wait to see the jump from GT5 to GT6!

I haven't seen any reviews but I'm assuming that "younger" review sites are gonna complain about the lack of iron sight aiming.
From what I've seen from the latest videos, it's classic CS with a fresh coat of paint which I think is a good thing for this series. Plus the PS3 version has Move and keyboard & mouse support!

It's not a patch since its a service... But to answer your question, mid September our cloud storage gets upped to 1 gig and the vita already has a few PS+ deals, they just don't have a specific PS+ section like in the PS3 store. If you just browse through the vita store you'll see a few items with the yellow plus logo next to them
Easiest way to get one is to always click the "send me offers via email" on the user sign up for PSN. I've been in almost every beta Sony has offered since the launch of PS3 and I've never actually gone to any specific beta sign up website.
