I would put myself in his shoes, except I'm an adult that doesn't have perental restrictions on my system and if I was still a whiny kid, I'd at least have the common sense to understand what the ESRB does and not complain when it's enforced

Co op is great. No lag even with 4 players. They throw in much harder enemies but you get better items.
Why wouldn't a platform exclusive count? How many Game of the Year awards have the Uncharted games gotten?
Who (other than you) really cares if it's exclusive? A good game is a good game regardless of what company logo is on your controller

I'll just throw this idea into the mix: it could just be for online leaderboards. Any online game that has online leaderboards has to say that since it is technically an online function. The latest I've played with it was Tokyo Jungle. You actually have to agree to an online terms of service to use the leaderboards.

I was in the closed vita cross play beta and it plays and looks great on the vita! Ignor any of the previews (IGN) that say the screen is too small for the game.
I know, right?! I hate how Sony doesn't do cross buy on games that are only on ps3 and don't come out on vita... Next I'm guessing Sony won't do cross buy for Halo 4... And I saw a rumor that Forza horizons and new Super Mario were also not cross buy... Good news though, Killer Instinct HD and the just announced HD remake of the Atari ET game are on the cross buy schedule!!

Go into the options and you can change the display settings. There are so many choices like virtual boy, DOS, Gameboy, Dot matrix... They all look incredible on the vita... Great game overall!

Samus or any Star Fox character... They would just fly to a different planet... But remember, when Samus goes to a new planet, she'll somehow lose all of her abilities and need to explore and find them all again
The complaint isn't that it's on rails, it's that they originally said it wasn't going to be.
I think it's funny that a lot of people want remote play and complain about how Sony hasn't delivered on it, but then also complain when they have cross buy, which is essentially remote play without the lowered resolution and need for a wifi signal.

The demo isn't nearly long enough of an example to what the whole game really is. I bought it day 1 and loved every part of it. Leveling up weapons through use is a cool feature because it forces you to learn the timing of each weapon. I was surprised at how cool each enemy looked and the bosses look especially good. There is repetition in combat if you only use 1 weapon type (just like every other dungeon crawler) but the light/ dark karma adds a nice change.
