So past track records mean nothing? The fact that Hermen Hulst said in an early June interview that Sony has at least 25 games from 1st party in development means nothing? Or that Sony just renewed the name of their yearly event, PSX? Sony just released 2 of the highest rated games of the new gen and you’re concerned, but MS releases nothing so far and you’re tempted by Gamepass? Come on dude…
Your personal impressions and concerns are literally based on article headlines ...
What it looks like when someone believes “journalist” opinion pieces over actual facts and past track records.
For being a long time PlayStation customer you sure know all the hyperbolic copy/ paste bullet points of the MS fanboys pretty well.
This is my favorite fanboy mantra. E3 just happened and you guys are already talking about the next one 😂
It’s almost like the game is unfinished and they just released this as a demo...
You can always spot a single console fanboy when that can’t even bring themselves to look at positive news from the competition that was posted here earlier this month.
Here’s a direct link to the Hermen Hulst interview where he talks about the PS5 and upcoming games:

And since you won’t...
He didn’t though. He pointed out a lie that the article repeatedly pushed and you got defensive and brought up the ps5 not having BC for ps3 games. So yes, you swooped in and tried to make it a fanboy argument. And I’m well aware of the fanboy fights on n4g... I’m currently trying to help a user understand this exact point.
@Jack
What? Who’s forcing you to pay $70. Wait for games to go on sale. You don’t need every game on launch day. How did you get so defensive off of my response to the article? Clearly you didn’t read it because my response is relevant to the post, yours is just a knee jerk reaction because you think your personal opinion on game pass is being threatened.
It’s nice to see you are self aware and are able to see that you tried to make this into a fanboy fight. Very big of you to start acting like an adult.
Seriously, fanboys see “game pass” in an article title and it instantly becomes a d*** measuring contest.
If he still has a ps3, why does he need a ps5 to play it? You guys care so much about game preservation, but when someone on here expresses their view on it, you swoop in and try to make it a fanboy fight?! That’s really sad Tedakin.
I read the advertisement. It repeatedly says games on game pass are yours to keep for free forever and gives absolutely zero correlation to explain why game pass is the reason people played the game again after 6 months. All the article says is that they think people stop playing games if they pay for it but will continue to play the game if they got it “for free.” If a game is good, people will continue to play it. Trying to act like game pass somehow extends the playability of a game is...
If I was in my 20’s with no real responsibilities I’d get game pass because I had more free time. I don’t game like I used to and basically have time for 1 game at a time. I am not the target demographic for game pass.
Technically every new IP is a game no one asked for. I wouldn’t say it looks boring only because we basically haven’t seen anything, hold that reservation for when actual gameplay is released.
That my main issue with seeing a lot of these comments. We don’t know anything really about the game other than who’s making it, it’s an RPG, it involves space, there are ships. So many people are are building hype by piggybacking off each other’s theories on what they hope the game will be.
I remember a few years ago people were hyping what was advertised as “fallout with online co op” and the result was Fallout 76.
I hope starfield turns out aweso...
Because of PR speak and a prerendered trailer?!
Don’t forget the hens only count if they hatch.
I’d say it’s more from looking at all the info we have on the actual game verses all of the fanboy theories being thrown around about what people hope the game will be.
Cool advert bro 🙄
Especially if you take their track record into consideration....
Oh wait...
Dude you need to chill out. I’m not calling you a fanboy, I’m just pointing out how easy it is for people to buy into click bait. You’ve completely ignored all the pre-E3 Sony buzz in favor of some shiny keys some journalists dangled in front of your face.
One company has had a consistent track record for the past 20+ years, the other is finally announcing positive changes in their strategy after 20+ years. Enjoy what ever you want to enjoy, but don’t come on here spout...
