Why should DA2 consider people with standard TVs? That would be like there being a VHS edition of Avatar. It would make no sense.
HDTVs are dirt cheap now. If you can afford an HD console then you can afford an HDTV.

The fact that it's on a console and not a PC automatically makes it the superior version. Why people like to play on PCs over consoles makes no sense to me. I'd rather be relaxing in front of my tv then sitting there in front of a monitor. Maybe it looks slightly nicer on a PC but nicer graphics will not make me compromise comfort. Consoles all day.
I think I'll tell Sony to harass the hackers more aggressively.

Anyway Battlefield 3 will not even be close to game of the year. Mass effect 3 or Uncharted 3 will take that. There's no way a fps can be goty in my eyes.

Too little too late. Valve will never get my respect or money for the unprofessional way they handled the PS3 in the early days. It looks like a lot of PS3 owners are willing to forgive them but I'm not.
The best thing that Bioware did with Dragon Age 2 was to have an actual main character. The biggest problem with DAO was that the main character had no personality and was just an empty shell. This was ok ten years ago but now it just seems lazy. Mass effect would not have been as good if Shepard was just a mute doll like the main character in DAO. An interesting protagonist with an actual personality is more important to a game then an empty customizable one.
This writer needs to have his eyes examined. DAO had lush, colorful graphics? Maybe with some mods but the real version of the game was ugly as all hell.

The PS3 version with all dlc comes on one disk. That alone makes it the better version. Playing Mass effect 2 on the Xbox 360 is like playing a game from 1997. Disk swapping is ridiculous in this day and age.
Do you have to swap disks for the PC version too? If so then I don't care how mighty your rig is or how maxed out your setting are. If you have a suped up PC and still have to swap disks that is pathetic.

It's not going to be 1 hour. As someone else said, the person who wrote the article probably just rushed through the dlc.
But to be honest if it was an hour and cost $20 bucks I'd still buy it. Mass effect is that good of an experience and I'd gladly shell out any amount of cash to get to go back to that world. I know that I'm an enabler of dlc but it's Mass effect!
