Seeing the reaction to the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy remaster/remake is enough to explain how 'not as hardcore' the new generation is today.
And you can easily get DriveClub for less than £5 nowadays, the online servers are still alive and kicking, and the game has an easy but very grindy Platinum trophy (likely why the Platinum obtained rarity percentage still sits at just 0.5% on PSN).

For those who could not be asked to check it out, basically in CoD WW2 the matchmaking is going to be set where the high skilled players (or players with DLC guns and in game items) are going to play the low skilled players, simply to try and force the low skilled players to buy MTs and DLC guns and in game items to 'match up' to the high skilled players.
Just note that they buffed almost all the guns on the Assault, Medic and Support classes
Battlefield is one of EA's staple IP so I would be very surprised if DICE gets the boot.
Closed down because the Visceral project led by Amy Hennig was going to be a 'linear, story based game'... What did EA expect? Awesome linear, story based games are her forte. EA trying to win the 'Worst Company In America' award again?
The WWE 2K17 VC grind was reasonable. VC was easy to earn by playing matches (I often got on approximate average 10,000 VC every match) and was mainly for unlocking arenas and veteran wrestlers, and boosting the MyCareer wrestler stats. I'm surprised that 2K went the NBA 2K VC lootbox route for WWE 2K18.
No idea why you got littered with disagrees, you're spot on. FIFA Ultimate Team is rammed with scripting and manipulation to try and get people to buy FUT Coins for Packs, and the Rocket League one is utterly ridiculous (trading is available, but usually leads to more loot boxes traded which are deemed useless as you need to buy keys to open them)

A 4k polished turd
I started playing DriveClub in early 2016 after I was able to get the game for peanuts. I have not encountered a single glitch or bug offline or online, and I have the Platinum trophy. The game is superbly optimised.
