But yes, Manual = way to go. You can control which gear you're in for fast take off after you clear the corner - and you can engine brake by down shifting.

Is it only online co-op? I just bought the game, but I can't explore it too much right now, I gotta study for my last 2 finals tommorow.

Um... If you read the source, it says the PS3 can already accept mods, but there are no mods to accept (because the PS3 mod export tools are not out yet for PC modders)

Well if you go to the Best Buy in Chicago, the PS3's are stacked in the Gaming section. However the 360's are stacked behind the store next to the trash cans. :/
