Well, in the US anyway, aren't they cutting off all analog broadcasting by Feb. 2009? So unless you buy some sort of adapter, you're going to have to use an HDTV to view television. With that many HDTVs in the market, they'll be looking for something better than DVD.

I've played both and I can tell you that High Velocity bowling is a lot better. Custom soundtracks, HD smoothness, and the way you hold the sixaxis/dualshock3 feels just right for a bowling game.
And you can do awesome moves by spinning the ball w/ l2/r2, etc
There's even a mode where you can put ramps/chairs/etc in the bowling ally for an arcade-ie style bowling experience. Wii bowling just lacks.
...And best of all, when I'm done playing bowling, ...
Next year when 360 sales slow and PS3 sales skyrocket. ;)
Microsoft put in a decent effort though, but gg, you lose the game.

I was talking in terms of profits. Aren't they losing money on PS3's - they can recoup those losses in PSP/PS2 sales + PSP/PS2/PS3 software.
