HDMI is a digital signal, it either works or it doesn't. You probably got a faulty cable, but if the cable works, there's no difference from a $100 HDMI cable.

Talvish, these are lifetime sales (10.5 million). Their 11 million forecast was for fiscal year 2007 (Q407-Q408 // March 07-March 08) They wanted to sell 11 million in that window, currently they have 8.83 million sold, so 9.5 million seems more doable than 11 million by March 08.
I don't get it either, but in their financial report it states:
"* Beginning with Q1 FY07, the method of reporting hardware and software unit sales has been changed from production shipments to recorded sales."
All I know is VGchartz better start fixing some numbers.

First of all, not all games require an install and some games have it as optional. Uncharted is a great example of a game that doesn't need an HDD install and yet has no loading screens. Epic.
Second, you can just uninstall the game after you're done playing with it. Seriously why keep 6-7 games (pretty rare to have that many in the first place, unless you intentionally go out and buy games that require an hdd install) AND not all games are 5gb as you say ...

PS2 games are 99% if you have an NTSC 60/20gb and like 85% (improving) if you have an PAL 60gb or NTSC 80gb.
