Oh I should clearfiy. I mistakingly said I only played MGS4 for 4 seconds I meant to exagurate the fact that you spent 90% of your time watching it and the time was boring as they had to explain away every single plot hole. I've beat the game 3 times twice when I first got it and again years later to confirm my distaste for it since I love the rest of the series.
What about MGS that series has cutscenes up the ass and MGS4 was the worst of the bunch, I played like four seconds of it and it was so convoluted and everything got explained away with nanomachines for me to enjoy it. TaleTell games work cause the stories are great. What makes this game any different? These kind of games give DLC a bad name. DLC is great if done correctly. More chances to play my favorite game, sign me up, a new cool costume that released about 4 months in, sure a long as it's priced accordingly, $61 worth of day one DLC... hell no.
Don't set yourself up like this. I want this game to be amazing as well but don't go saying its automatically going to be good and fanboy this and that. By the off chance that it is bad you will just be proving their point when they gang on anyone who likes PS games
Jesus I don't see your logic. Even if the game is only 5 hours you're getting your money's worth. How many times have you spent $60+ for less, like eating out, an amusement park. Value isn't based on lenght its based on the experience. When you beat it, then determine its worth.

What I hate the most is that even if it does turn out to be bad, they'll say oh those PS fanboys where defending this hurhur I guess greatness is still waiting. When all we are saying is stop bashing games before they are even released and most of all stop hyping stuff up.

@Amigaenigne. I don't necessarily think you need to insult a group of people like that, I can read just fine. Its just the fact that I don't like text dumped at me. If you're gonna do a cutscene driven narrative like that, do it correctly. Having no voices is just lazy and it doesn't add to the atmosphere in any meaningful way.
I like my cutscenes as long as the game doesn't start with a long cutscene then I'm cool. Its the worst when you're ready to play and the dump an hour long scene that's important to the story in front of you like damn I just want to play for a bit. Games like GTA, TLOU, and Mass Effect i feel do it right. GTA has short ones and they talk during gameplay, TLOU Is just enjoyable enough to sit through and there's no other game that I can't wait for the next dialogue secti...

True that, but that would be amazing, if there was a simultaneous release they could do it since the trilogy has been localized but I doubt this is true.
