You get a 2GB update if you miss one of the 256MB updates, that only really effects people that don't use the instant on power mode.

I to had to download a 2016MB (2GB) update, as I missed 1 prior preview update.

Only issues I have had with the XB1 pad are.

1) Triggers begin to squeek after a while.
(WD40 is a temp fix, but short lived)

2) Left stick begins to wear down on the underside & you get a grinding feeling.
(Quick lick under there seems to temp fix it, but it shouldn't be happening)

As for the bumpers, I have no issues. They were designed to be used with the inside of your trigger finger, so you no longer need to remov...

Anyone else noticed that foliage & signs now popin a lot more on the v1.03 XB1 patch?

I can't test the v1.01 or v1.0 as I have the digital version & reinstalling applys the patch without my consent.

There is a small village just outside the city in Novigrad & it has a sign hanging & it's compleatly gone untill you're quite close.
(the village is next to the river & has a shopkeeper lowered there)

Same w...

Using Quen also reduced fall damage.

Kind of the same on XB1.

Press Back (two little boxes) on the The Witcher 3 tile (can be done on the main dash or pinned tiles aswell as in my games & apps) then press the RBumper, RBumper, followed by (A)

This will load into the The Witcher 3 management menu & from there you can select show all Addons.

From what I have read, this is only affecting people who use the low power mode & resume from a suspended game.

Like a few others on here I haven't had this issue, but I don't use the low power mode.
(I turn my console off compleatly)

The armor you buy from the guy you saved from the griffin at the beginning of the game, he's in the first village you encounter just before the bridge exiting the village.

Here is all the info you need, if you still can't find anything then time to uninstall the DLC & redownload.

The armor isn't all that, I found a better armor long before I crafted the jacket variant.
(It does look nice though, unlike some of the others)

It's also a level 30 armor, which would have been handy right at the beginning, if I new about it.

You must be level 4 for the armor, the horse armor you can just buy if you have the coinage.

But the game should have popped up a notification saying that it had detected DLC & to activate it you need to return to the main menu.

Cannot agree more, I'm actually liking the game even though RPG's aren't my type of game, but the menu txt in the pause menu is killing it for me.

I sit about 5/6ft away on a 46" TV

I'm finding that specific issue with the Witcher 3 :-/ the menu txt is so damn small I have to squint to read it & that's on a 46" TV sitting 5ft away.

Framerate is an issue when you have rain & lots of cars but my main gripe I'm having is the controls.

No matter what I do with the control settings (that's also another issue, no way to change these ingame) they seem to be way to sensitive on the left analog stick, you push it a small amount & ingame the wheel is locked, it makes it really twitchy & hard to drive.

I have had quite a few issues with this game sofar.

Photos cannot be taken in practice mode, not a bug I'm guessing but a stupid idea to lock it out.

Cars handling is all over the place, I think this maybe due to the physics being calculated at 60fps & the game running at sub 40fps.

The random physics of cars hitting each other or me scraping a wall & it stops you dead sometimes or just randomly flips you.

Some ca...

Game has some major bugs :-( the handbrake doesn't function on the XB1 version & you can't take photos in free mode o__O

Also the photomode is lacking big style, there is no free cam or a way to hide the UI, so we're stuck with a 3rd person camera that only move in, out, up, down, left or right & even then that's buggy.

Wish I had held off £49.99 for a ruff game :-(

£13.39 for us UK folk, already bought & preloaded, the 28th can't come soon enought.

Is the XB1 patch out yet? Just launched the game & it hasn't updated.
(I use power saving mode)

Yes you can, well not when you're set to chat in a party, you can set your chat mode to game chat & send a message & then press B to go back to the party app & set it back to party mode.

It's not the most elegant way of doing it but it means you don't need to leave a party to message someone.

They may just auto do the above in future updates.

Yup :( maybe they will release one later down the road.

As this device will also help with a lot of the vita games aswell.

I hope so, I would love to play Crysis 1 again.
