Listen, It's not like I'm for OR against mandatory installs.
If the game doesn't need one, great.
If it does, so be it.
Having said that, you should never run out of HDD space due to installed titles. Do you have 10 games on the go that all require mandatory installs? Highly unlikely.
Having multiple games on the go this should still not be an issue, even with a 40 gig ps3.
Beat a few games, get rid of the installs...rinse, repeat.

Gears 2 and Resistance 2 both look like great games regardless of the system they're found on.

I bought bioshock yesterday, mandatory install...what did i do for that 10 minutes?
I watched UFC 90 and when that was done I played bioshock, crisis averted.

Can't connect yet, tried a few times.
Time outs and matchmaking is failing as well.
Maybe from the increased load on the servers?

Oh no Bioshock has 1 texture that looks like crap, Fallout 3 has jaggies, halo 3 looks like halo 2.5 etc, etc.
At the end of the day none of these things matter because they don't hurt the experience AT ALL!
