Adding PS5 numbers to Xbox series numbers is dumb all on its own.
One could argue they're not the same gen. Switch 2017, ps5 and Xbox series 2020. Not saying that's the reason but perhaps... Also, Nintendo is very much going to the beat of their own drum.
