This is painful to listen to. While my favorite console is the PS3 by a large margin I can still see the value in owning a Wii and a 360 (which I do).Ninty first party has some great games, 360 has some awesome exclusives as well.
Give credit where credit is due. All systems have pros and they have cons.

The standard cable will only give you 480i though
and cannot be upscaled through certain surround receivers. A component connection will give you 480p and can be upscaled to 1080p through my surround.
It still doesn't look that impressive but it does look a hell of a lot better than 480i.

But I also remember thinking why are so many people whining about 600 bucks when a standalone bluray player was somewhere in the area of 900 to 1200 bucks. For half of the price I was getting a bluray player/game console.
