It's just another reason for me to skip the game, because i despise this model. It's just getting more popular to use it in the next few years, which is unfortunate.
Hmm, it doesn't sound like they've gotten rid of that massive rock holding them back just yet. It seems like he still wants to have some kind of say about Daybreak, which is a shame.
Smedley only ever cared about himself.
You can thank the people starting the trainwreck that is SJW's. If it wasn't for that attack on gaming, we would all be discussing what you mention instead.
With that said, the world would be better off with more healthy people.
Dishonored is most definitely a Stealth game, but you do get the option for players prefering crossbow blazing / sword and powers. TLOU is much more of an action game. I also cringe when people call Assassin's Creed Stealth, which only somewhat fits the first game.
I do hope they improve the AI awareness in Dishonored 2, plus add some options to make it harder for veteran players.
Thief 1 / 2 and Dishonored is definitely up there as far as Stealth goes, even though you can choose blazing crossbow and sword in Dishonored or powers.
Dishonored can still make things harder if they wish, not to mention improve on the AI.
Oh, and TLOU is not a Stealth nor Horror game, really.
If it wasn't mentioned this was fan made, then i would've most definitely taken it as a official movie made by people with an actual understanding of Halo.
A(Lex) Luthor should be proud for making this.
Good thing i waited with Lords of the Fallen, because it ended up saving my money as well. Unless they learned from their last game, then i expect this will deserve the same fate.
Diablo 2 pretty much ruined most ARPG's for me, because it was simply too good for its time. Now they're typically a poor man's Diablo or even worse, a Titan Quest type of game. Unfortunately (Activision) Blizzard merged Diablo with a certain other game of theirs.
R.I.P Blizzard North.
Indeed, these sites are only speaking for a very, very small minority. Bioware's correctness has been infesting ever since the 7th generation, but it has become even worse over the years.
There are plenty of reasons to avoid EA's games, but this is just another thing on that list of reasons. Same goes for other games pushing this correctness to make it ''normal''.
They may release it in 7 years or something. :)
There's a specific amount of deaths that needs to happen, but yes the servers basically go offline. No offline play either.
People who bought it will be unable to play it, and no one else will be able to buy it after it goes offline.
Either way, i hope no one is foolish enough to give them money for this.
Bugs and other issues are fine to resolve after release, considering it's such a big game. What's more dissapointing, is that they created a standalone game instead of a sequel.
You can't just fix things like that.
I can only agree that it's a shameful cash grab on Activision's part, but i stand by that Prototype 1 was better.
@Pintheshadows Prototype 1 was most definitely the better game of the ''fight'' between Prototype and Infamous. I'm really not sure where you're getting your complaints about the game in general from, and it's not like Infamous had epic moments between enemies. The hud, controls and even protagonist was better in the first game.
Hell, even the protagonist was more interesting than Cole.
Now if you had said Protoype 2, then yes your...
I'll thank the devs more often, if we get working games and something that hasn't been chopped up. :)
If they keep a turn-based system, then they should at least make it like FFX which is actually turn based. Like said above, a minor tweak would let people not use their limit, and be able to choose a basic attack instead.
Randy should just face that people see him as nothing more than a liar as it is now. It's hard to trust anything that he's saying or maybe even overseeing to be the truth of it.
It's not a new IP or a reboot, but Witcher 3 pretty much feels like that because it's better as a standalone game than a sequel. They were obviously creating the game for new players, rather than continuing what they had been building on.
I'd rather have a brand new IP. More often than not, developers have no clue what made the originals special.
DmC is a great example of a game that wasn't needed, and the terrible fiasco surrounding it was splitting a community as well. It didn't help that NT is a B or C developer, but they'll most definitely be sour if their average project doesn't rake in cash.
Thief is another great example of a developer not understanding the games. Di...
Unfortunately, i doubt it's a continuation of Resonace of Fate. I liked that game as well, though.
