Scrap most of the terrible ideas from Darksiders 2, then go back to the first game and work from there. Especially the loot system was terrible for progression, so i hope they didn't keep that.
Death was not really Death, but more of an errand boy as well.
Yeah, i'm passing on a bunch of games each year, because i don't want to fund their attempts of destroying franchises. I still have a passion for gaming, but Publishers / Developers are doing a good job to make me avoid them.
Once you start passing on the cash grabs, it really doesn't leave you with a whole lot of games to play. Hell, i've even gone back to older games more.
The new Unreal Tournament announcement is really interesting, and i&...
Floaty combat, poor hit detection, voice acting being less than stellar, story isn't a great point either. Maybe they had high hopes for this game, but ultimately it failed to deliver.
At least there are other games releasing this year.
Awesomesauce, this has the potential to be a huge PC game.
Take a look at what happens with a Funeral gone wrong. http://www.gamesradar.com/t...
This was done on a PvP server, so they were obviously more vulnerable.
It's just another reason for me to support a certain other game. They don't believe in the pre-order bonuses, so you're getting the full game instead.
One of the worst things to come out last gen, is that there were multiple retailers with different bonuses.
It's certainly much more interesting to look at a female butt in MMO's, but i typically do it if the male model is terrible as well. Using Draenei as an exaple, both the model and animations were terrible for males, but the female was much better.
People trying to fool someone else that they're female though, that's not my thing. I've never had someone bothering my avatar in game, but i would let them know what's up.
Because it makes Nintendo look weaker.
As much as i dislike ME3, the game had a few achievements you could unlock in both SP and MP. That way you would still be able to get the achievements / trophies, without being forced to go online.
This is just a continuation of last gen. Companies are playing it as safe as possible, so another console, or the shocking alternate reality of PC being used to its full capacity doesn't happen. It's just another reason i'm not supporting a lot of games.
This Wolfenstein seems to be suffering the same as Rage, which is a smooth FPS game, but lacking everywhere else.
Epic won't be Facing the World alone with this idea, because the community is backing them up on this.
Everyone on Deck 16, there's a Instagib match coming up. :P
I watched the entire stream, and they seem genuinely interested in providing a quality game. UT shines best on the PC, and the ideas about modding and such would never work with closed platforms.
For those having questions about being free, they're planning on adding a Marketplace later. Modders will be able to put up content, that players will be able to pay for. That money is then split up between the Modder and Epic. That's pretty much how they're planning on p...
If you watched the stream, they'll be adding a Marketplace at some point, where modders can put up content and Epic takes a cut. That's how they're planning on paying for this.
Spending that much on development and marketing, that screams more and more bloat. It's kinda sad, when you know that lesser developers don't spend that much on quality games.
Something could be said for MMO's built for long term investment, but Destiny isn't an MMO. Even if it was, that amount of money would be headless.
It's probably something related to Age of Empires. Halo Wars was just a stain on RTS games, mainly because the controls are so limited.
I can't imagine Blizzard creating something new, and this is probably released far into the future as well.
Pretty much all of their popular games were created from something else, except Diablo.
If you're interested in what some of the developers are doing, then check out the game called Grey Goo.
Kingdoms of Amalur had a ton of side stuff to do, but little to do when it came to the main quest (which was okay at best). The combat was going in the right direction, but the difficulty could've been better.
While i played through the game (twice, console and PC 100%) i kinda missed a sidekick. One of the main characters could've travelled with you, and they would comment on things you do together.
That's a minor thing i guess, but i wish they c...
I think it was due to the change to Samus as well.
If they do continue along the lines of Darksiders 2, then i'll just save my money. I'm not interested in less meaningful content.
