Is this just because someone else said their game lasts that long, or is it genuine? Not sure to be honest, since a lot of their marketing has been trying to follow footsteps.
20 dragons with different skins, maybe. You never know what to expect.
I'm guessing the former, which would be misleading.
Planetside 2 was a shadow of the previous game, so this doesn't surprise me at all. It's also why i completely lost interest in the game.
To outright say that the PS4 version will look better is crazy, because it's patches away for the PC version.
In this day and age, there are so many fake reveals being shown. Ubisoft is one of the worst offenders, so don't expect their games to actually look like it.
Compared to the RED Engine, this looks quite underwhelming.
No that's Donte you saw in that trailer.
Seriously though, couldn't Platinum Games have chosen a better character model? What was shown only reminds me of a nightmare, so that kinda ruined it for me.
Hopefully this will satisfy people until release, now that they've seen some gameplay footage of the game. :)
Obviously this will shine on PC, not to mention the modding tools that will be available.
Yay, platform / retailer exclusive content.

It's pretty funny how Nvidia is being seen as the greater evil, just because they're better at what they do. I used to run ATI / AMD cards as well, but then i switched to a GTX 680 and i've never had a better experience.
Witcher 3 is going to make me upgrade again.
Witcher 3 is pretty much the only game i expect to live up to this. CDPR is a very dedicated developer, unlike many of the other corrupted strains.
More games that'll be delayed? ;)
It doesn't surprise me that they're letting indies pick up the slack, but even those games aren't interesting for everyone.
Currently i'm just gonna stick with Wildstar, until Pillars of Eternity, Torment: Tides of Numenera and Witcher 3 releases.
Cross generation games, remasters and more is indeed a plague. Supporting those games is just not an option for me, so i'll just watch as they drop in price.
Exclusive games is another can of worms, but we'll deal with that later.
Not if i pick it up first. :P
Such a waste of talent joining the Oculus team.
Yes, yes they are. Wait until a year before release, then people will still be excited when the time comes. Before you send out that message, please be absolutely sure.
That's what happens when EA rushes games like Warhammer Online. Same goes for Star Wars.
DAoC is a far cry from what it was before, so no wonder it isn't as popular anymore.
I've been saying this for a long while, that games are being revealed too early. 12 months is very valid for marketing a game, and it keeps people interested when the game actually releases.
Worst case scenario is games like FF 13 Versus, The Last Guardian, Half Life 3 and Duke Nukem Forever etc. I remember when Half Life 2 Episode 3 was nothing but a false promise.
Another rant for another time, but i really hate how companies cram games into specific mo...
The sad part about it is, that DS3's crafting system was made with Microtransactions in mind, according to one of the developers themselves. That just shows how terrible the infection can hurt a game.
This was pretty much a decision by EA, just how co-op was told to be made possible.
