The last injustice and recent MK games all released in April. I will take a guess that Injustice 2 will be the same and release April 2017. I hope so anyway.
Good job, you got it right. With the upcoming ng+ patch it is a 10/10 for me too. GOTY!
Interesting article.
Bloodborne and the Souls games also have their own unique yet compelling way of telling a story. Things are not spelt out and there is plenty of room for interpretation and conjecture.
@Foxtrot
Yes I remember that trailer. I think the story was pretty weak but the gameplay was varied(I liked the diving), there was a lot of exploration, and the puzzles were good.
As I said, while I am still a big fan of the reboot I do think it has gone too heavy on the combat. Also not a fan of the new PC Lara. I prefer the fun/sexy Lara of old.
What did you think of TR: Underworld? Personally I really dug it and completed it a bunch of times. Definitely appreciated the less serious tone.
I still want to see a crossover game. Make it happen ND and CD.
Both great franchises. I think there is room for both. It's kind of like saying are Battlefield and CoD too similar just because they are both in the military fps genre.
I have a fairly similar setup and it looks amazing.
Didn't watch it myself but you should avoid spoilers and just play the game. If you like the original I don't see how you could be disappointed with this sequel(on console at least).
Usually I don't agree with these guys as I think they perhaps have certain biases however they got the score right for once. Good job Good Game. Dishonored 2 is GOTY 2017.
I love my PS4 Pro. 4K mode looks awesome(Dishonored 2 looks super sharp). I highly recommend people pick one up if they can afford to.
That said, at least in Australia there is a lack of marketing for the Pro. Most people have no idea what it is, or have no idea it exists. Sony needs to do some advertising.
The reaction of most people here when I mention I got a Pro, "A Pro? What's that?"
Conversely everyone knows what the...
A lot of the sales you are talking about are the casual teen market and they are just buying what they know and what all their friends are playing, which these days means CoD and GTA.
Actual gamers will by other stuff but you will not get the same numbers as in those previously mentioned games.
Over saturation of the market. Too many big games releasing at the same time. There are 12 months in a year, not 3.
Indeed. Dishonored 2 looks amazing with great textures and a super crisp image at 4K(checkerboard rendering or similar I guess).
ROTTR also looks great in 4K mode and is a noticeable downgrade when you swap to high framerate mode or 'enriched visual' mode.
Both are influenced by Indiana Jones and perhaps other old school pulp stories/movies. Now both influence one another. TR reboot and ROTTR both have obvious Uncharted influence(Especially the set-pieces). Uncharted 4 in particular has some obvious TR influences. It's win-win as far as I can see.
Both great franchises.
Sounds like NG+ and/or mission select finally being added.
Should of been there at release but hey, I'll cut them some slack because this game is awesome!
GOTY!
Tell me about it. Between work, kids, chores. To be young and carefree again.
@Kurdishcurse Not defending Bethesda, they are super dodgy in terms of their dishonesty, crappy review policy, dodgy pre-order incentives which contradict their PR and review policy, and history of releasing buggy games(Looking at you in particular Fallout 3).
Regardless, my comment stands. Dishonored 2 is a 10/10 and easily GOTY. No need to generalise just because some people are having technical issues. As I said, game ran like a dream on the Pro. Also, lose the offensive...
I went all in and upgraded to a Pro and bought a good 4K HDR 65" TV and it is awesome. Seriously feels like a next gen upgrade.
Ha ha. Posted in the wrong place somehow. Sorry, my bad.
