Yeah and Atari Pac-Man was a terrible port too. It barely looked like the arcade, the ratios were off and color was well... weird.

I'd talk with the Pandora folks and adapt an algorhythm that tracks as many facets of a game as possible and aggregates enough people to determine what facets of a game make it enjoyable, profitable, add replayability, and generate overall positive feedback.

The issue might be with innovation and fresh ideas, unless a mutation component is added allowing the program to try out small things which have not been correlated to positive aspects of a game yet.

I would build a cabinet and buy another TE stick for this game. Add in a revival of Primal Rage, and I'm in 90's fighter heaven.

According to the definition, WD falls into the genre of "Adventure". https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

It is a game, and there is a very definite set of criteria. Just because you didn't care for it, does not mean that it isn't a game.

Honestly, I didn't like it much either and felt no emotional attachment to any of the characters. That doesn't mean it was a...

I don't want another hot xbox. Wasn't that the problem with the RROD? Really poor phrasing. lol

Except for your damn game-crashing chamber Mr. Gollop. I hated the freezes requiring a hard reset ever other battle after building the Gollop Chamber. Haven't played in a while, did they fix that yet?

Google MK9 lag. Plenty of evidence showing their online play was much worse than other fighting games at the same time. I experienced poor online performance with multiple connections in 3 different states in the US over 2 time zones. It wasn't my internet connection.

I suppose one must throw out most of the canon and rules that the DC comics have laid down over the past few decades to allow for this game to exist. Otherwise it would be Superman vs Black Adam or Batma...

The online component to both MK9 and the MK trilogy (1-3) were very, very poorly executed. I will wait until after release before considering buying this.

Not sure how you can work Green Arrow punching Superman through a wall into a story. That's not right.

Too bad the Injustice Demo won't let you sample the quality of online play. That is what ruined MK9 and the MK trilogy. That company has a poor track record when it comes to online play, which is usually important for a fighting game these days. Forget about the parts where Green Arrow punches Superman through a wall...

I wonder if anyone from the console developer days is still around at Blizzard? Are they keeping an aged developer in a cage somewhere? Or is there like a programmer ranch they send the old folks to out there in sunny CA?

I'd play either game really. DLC discount when you type in your UPC code from the case of beer? Win.

Be honest. Nobody "tries out" Disgaea. That's like trying out heroin. Once that game starts, you're into it for at least 100 hours. :-)

Apparently there are three people who either like EA or suffer from chronic disagreetardism. I should develop a pill for that.

To answer your question I quote from the article, "...in the UK the addition of console titles is certainly a new experiment".

It was not a good kart racer style game. The actual races seemed very slow and it was difficult to match up with online players. It should have been a $20 release, not a full $60.

Its not just sales that are disappointing about the WiiU.

As long as the combat isn't boiled down to math. The usual MMO "tab, 1, 2, 3, 1..." style combat is so dull. I'd like to see distance and timing matter in battle. I'd like to have not just a skill component to combat, but make it skill dependent.

Maybe I've played too many fighting games recently, but I prefer to grind skill than gear. Also, repeating the same raid dungeons hoping to get 3 cherries on the loot slot machine is a weak excuse for ga...

Might be good for a low cost alternative or for more casual gamers who don't already have a console. Families who can't afford expensive consoles or $60 retail discs might be all over this.

I'd also think that it might be nice as a portable system for those who travel frequently or military stationed away from home.

No it is not. Reference "Farsight Studios" for evidence. They crapped all over pinball fans. They released a "Williams COllection" which was decent, although a little buggy. THen they released Pinball Arcade and bundled one "new" table with one table from the Williams Collection. No option to buy separately, so you have to double purchase - and the physics are still pretty rough. Pinball Arcade also launched WITHOUT TROPHIES. Who does that these days? Now...

Pinball of any kind is definitely my thing (except the turd that is Pinball Arcade/Farsight Studios). I'll be attending Pinburgh 2013 (national PAPA pinball championships) in April.
