I don't think i'd buy a new console that is "maybe" better than what I've got now. Every upgrade is double for my house. A new console for me and one for my wife. So if i'm going to lay out that kind of money, then the improvement needs to be significant.
I don't get credited as an author for every research study I run. Move on.
Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't paying attention and almost clicked the link!
I admit, I was a bit put off by the reviews. I never finished 1. I loved ME 2. I never played ME3. I'll play it eventually, but not any time soon with this fall/winter lineup looking so good.
DS2 is $10 at Best Buy this week. No more excuses not to own it.
I'm surprised nobody thought about parents playing with their kids. Perhaps kids could use an easier class to play?
I love the Zombies, Run! app.
Karts could use a little more speed based on beta play. I had trouble getting into races with other humans in quick fashion, but I'm confident with a full release it should be a little faster to go from pod-race.
I was indoctrinated by Activision. I've been chasing trophies since I ironed my first patch on my backpack signifying I am a "Laser Blast Commander" on Atari 2600. It was more often about high scores back then though.
I'm enjoying it a lot so far, I just picked it up yesterday and went through the first two stages. I'd say its an 8/10 for me.
Too buggy @ launch. With a large backlog and a lot of great releases since then I've had no desire to go back and try it again. I don't usually have time to "stick with" a game while the devs patch and/or otherwise fix a game after launch. If I try it, and I don't enjoy it, I don't play it.
Every time I play a game I'm also electing to NOT play all the other games in my backlog. To justify trying this one again it would have to be better than...
Sounds like he's got his head on straight and would be a big asset to a game that has good game play, but could use a stronger story.
It can definitely be some methadone for people getting withdrawal from Disgaea or other strategy JRPGs.
Original and recreated tables both have their merits. It would be nearly impossible to make a real life Avengers table with a different ball for each Avenger, or the Infinity Gauntlet table's different modes. You sure can't just flip a real table upside down for a special mode. But on the other side, nothing can top the Twilight Zone table for me.
Anyhow, my real point is that I don't care if the table is a recreation of a rel life table or a totally original d...
3.4? Why not just use a proper scale if you need that level of scoring precision. How about a 7/10 or 68/100?
Yes, it should definitely be on XBLA. I propose an online network trade. PSN gives RM to XBLA and PSN gets Bastion in return.
They don't care about the individual type of fan. IF they lost every single fan of the series from DS1 and DS2, but they drew in twice as many action game fans they would be happy. If they don't plan to go further with the franchise i'm sure the idea is to get as much cash from this one as possible.
You don't need 3D artists to do the trophies. It looks like amateur hour when games release these days that are both glitchy and missing trophies. Having the ball go through a flipper, multiball lag, and no trophies makes me think the tables were released too soon.
See how many of those quality tables they sell after Pinball FX2 drops.
I'd almost rephrase it as Brink was "less awful" on PS3.
Both my wife and I got the plat for KoA, it was a lot of fun all the way through. Binary Domain is on my wish list on Amazon.com and my queue for Blockbuster.com. We'll see what happens first: a good sale, or an available copy gets mailed to me.
#8 was not a quote from a game. It came from the movie "They Live" starring Roddy Piper! "I"ve come here to chew bubblegum and kick a$$, and I'm all out of bubblegum."
Also, no "Welcome to DIE!!" from X-Men?? You're slacking internet.
