I dunno. Most games have SOMETHING to recommend them. This one sounds kinda flat, though.
Fantastic article. Really fills in a lot of details I lived, but didn't know about.
Damn, this is some great writing.
Only reason I have a Wii anymore is the kids -- they can play Let's Dance on it.
I think this article is more of a great reminder of the market and industry realities that were in effect when the original phat DS came out.
I was one of the PSP first adopters, and it was more expensive, felt like a better piece of hardware, and there were games on it that more closely approximated the console stuff at the time. We know that the DS won that round, though. Bravo to Nintendo.
I'm still on the fence about the 3DS. Is it enough of a step f...
I like articles like this that actually take their time to set up the conclusion with research and facts and opinion about those things.
They packed enough crap in this thing to make me upgrade to it on day one. Also? YAY NO UMD!!!!!
Geeze, finally.
Enslaved wasn't that great. I bought into the hype and regret it.
Of course they will, are you crazy?
Seriously? It's a gift guide. Why NOT recommend things that just look damn good?
Some sweet ideas here. Personally, I could go for some Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and GT 5, even though I'm not a racing game fan.
Frakkin tired of realistic war shooters. Can we do ANYTHING else with this much talent and cash?
I seriously am on the hunt for this one. Looks really good -- sleeper hits rock!
Damn this is a great game. If only it were on the PSN I could ACTUALLY FINISH IT! Stupid Sony.
Yeah, who doesn't?
Me, too. My kid got the UMD version, though, so this one will be ALL MINE!
What a great explanation of the game history and technical cheatery used to create these games on a "lower powered" system. Sweet writing!
Nice review!
I dunno. This game doesn't do it for me. Kinda silly.
