Dude i have both psn and live and there is no way that psn is anywhere near the quality of live, but i do agree that live should be free

A good story is not dependant on the story teller but the person who is listening/watching, not everyone has the same tastes or interests, eg many people think that MGS has a great story where as i think it was complete nonsense but like someone above mentioned uncharted has a great a storyline to it and im inclined to agree
I dont think the 360 lost an exclusive, capcom stated that the vast majority of games are mulitplatform which you cant blame them considering the cost to develop the games

It is indeed sad times that we have fallen upon when we have fanboys crying over a review score and reviewers having to justify their reviews to fanboys.
Although reviews are used as a guide to see if a game is any good or not, they shouldnt be taken as gospel, its up to the individual if he/she likes the game, what is one mans rubbish is another mans treasure.
I dont think the devs are lazy, they are simply finding the architecture of the cell difficult to understand, a bit like someone who has worked with ferarri's for 30 years and are then given a Porche to fix up, they will be teething troubles
Im a massive gears fan and i only own a 360 but i find the statement "the best blockbuster you will see this year" a bit strange considering it only receieved a 9, i have no doubt it will be sh1t hot but for it to be the biggest blockbuster surley a 9.8 at least is required
Console wars aside, LBP looks like a much needed breath of fresh air when games are dominated by Shooting or sport Sims. I'm not sure it will be everyones cup of tea but its something different, innovative and fun. Ps3 owners are lucky to be able to play this. Great to see fable 2 getting a good score as well, that looks like a lot of fun and is next on my list of purchases
The only problem Sony have right now is the price point when you compare it to the competitors, i know that Blu ray is the reason the price is higher but for me a games console is for games and as soon as a company looses sight of that, thats when things get complicated. Once the price becomes more accessable then just watch the sales figures roll in

Sony needs more that LBP to help them this Holiday season, not really the best of news for them especially when trying to close the sales gap. Im sure there will be a price drop sometime next year and with the quality titles due out in 2009, its not game over just yet.

Wouldnt it be cool if all 3 platforms were allowed to play together, x360 owners been the jedi, ps3 owners been the sith (or visa versa) with pc owners been bounty hunters and scoundrals.
It doesnt mean anything other than if you own an x360 you have the option to purchase DLC, if you dont own one then you dont have the option, its quite simple really

In my opinion, there is yet a game to be released that can be considered as truely next gen, all the games so far released are just updates of games that were out on ps2/xbox with obviously far better graphics/physics, attention to detail etc, the only games i feel has come close to next gen was the character interaction on Mass effect and the level designs on Little big planet
