Your posts proves it isn’t as great as people are saying. Fun… but not a Half Life Alyx and obviously not the same leap Mario took.
Mario went from a fun side scroller to a full blown 3D game that’s still better than most platformers today. Alyx will most likely be the best VR game for years to come.
Odd, I would classify my “didnt horizon just come out” as excitement for a new game being added to PS+. Most people seem to see it as a year being a long time. IMO, this game just came out a year ago. Pretty fresh game to hit PS+

Does anyone think that the delay in a new Nintendo console will help the sales? Every Nintendo topic has majority of the commits basically ribbing or downright telling Nintendo to release a new console. Sounds like there will be a ton of demand more-so than having traditional upgrades on a 5-year basis.
For me, the hype came with the game not being announced and dropped (along with being AAA). I’d be excited for any game like that.
Back in the day when HL3 was a possibility, everyone was wondering if Steam/Valve would just drop HL3 without any advertising or announcement. Imo, that is the best way to drop a triple-A exclusive because word of mouth sells and no expectations are present.

Looking at that screenshot with Leon shooting that “monster” turning into black dust… it looks cool/fun. Wish Capcom still released RE side games (like Veronica or Outbreak). This would be fun side content.

Jwill - It depends how much I enjoy the game and how long. Mario Odyssey I would be okay at $100. Kirby feels more like a $40 for me. Legend of Zelda BotW I would pay around $50. I test the games before buying (willing to return ones that don’t hit right for me).
Generally tho, I won’t pay that much because there are so many games I’ve missed rn

Your first question isn’t apples to apples since BotW released on WiiU and Switch. If they did it for the Switch version then yes.
I understand that you want more tech to show the price jump… there is extra manpower that went into this game to create. GTA4 was priced the same as GTA5, but the difference between the two games initially was GTA4 had hundreds of people who worked on it and GTA5 had thousands. The budget was drastically different and I’m guessing ...
