I think they set themselves up for a Microsoft victory with the cloud (most games have cloud integration). The Xbox One didn’t win, but their services are pushing ahead.

The hype that was surrounding this game was insane. It was all anyone wanted to see when the PS3 was announced. Games were on one level, this was off the charts.
Edit: I’d put RE5 and GTA4 at that same level. COD4 was something that blew up as well before release.
