Grandparent game of the year? I don't know about anyone else but neither of my grandparents would go near a video game.
No one knows... Some think it's a remake because it's not coming until late this year. Others think remaster because Square's keeping their mouth shut (If it is a remake why keep us in the dark?)
I personally have my hopes up for a remake but I'm assuming that it's taking so long because it's Square...
Didn't the first LA Noir trailer come out in 2007? I also think Red Dead had a little teaser trailer before this gen started. Other then that, it does seem like they release their games relatively close to the trailer.
I'm guessing Nov. 2012 or May 2013 since that's the timeframe that they release games.
I like when they talk about sales and games especially since I'm entering the field. It's just fun to see new games break records (or any piece of entertainment.
The article said that they don't think any game next year will top MW3... I'm thinking otherwise with GTA5.
So if logic wins then whoever gets PS3 Game of the Year actually gets "Game of the Year". That is unless they give it to Skyward Sword...
Every article that talks about The Last of Us seems to say "from Naughty Dog, the team that brought you The Uncharted series and Jak" but they forget to mention Crash Bandicoot. I loved Crash and correct me if I'm wrong but that still is their best selling franchise so I don't understand how people tend to forget.

Sony got bad news in the portable department so up comes the Nintenbots. They've been hiding for sometime now so it only felt natural to strike. Now I'm wondering when it's the xbots turn to rise and undercut everyone... Its been awhile.
Haha, putting Dead Space in there was funny. I think playing any game helps with depression especially action heavy games.
Can you imagine the co-op moves these two could pull-off together?

Bioshock was pretty shocking (no pun intended... Seriously)
I think the next step is just immersion like Half-Life and Bioshock provide.

It's not that it was ignored, release The World Ends With You on PSN/Steam (mobile if necessary) along with all the Kingdom Hearts spin-offs and I'll gladly purchase.

If this is true then each of the GoW games will have had different directors...
I keep hearing all these great things about Shenmue, yet i pretty much know nothing about it. The fact that it snows and the snow builds up is incredible... even games this generation don't really have that in a open world setting.
Kaos Studies did some very good research before making the game. Too bad that wasn't enough to keep them afloat.
