I live in Aus, Kinect costs $200 at launch here.. I'm not buying it at launch though will be sure to pick it up down the track ;)

360 is the winner.. The PS3 is only brighter because it can't handle dark textures and shadows as well as the 360.. Look at the road and car on the PS3 screens it's blurry and has much less detail.. Also look at the reflections on the cars and textures look much better on the 360 screens..
Forza is the best racing game this gen. Are you trying to refer GT5 might be better? GT5 isn't even out therfore doesn't even compete yet.
Gears 2 was not a disaster you troll.. The campaign is one of the best seen in the video game. Story, graphics, gameplay all supurb.. The gore and grit so satisfying.
The only thing it had some problems with was Multiplayer (some lag issues) but that's all fixed now and Epic knows what it's doing for number 3. Beta and Dedicated Servers to come ;)

360 has 4xAA, same as Fallout 3.
Anything in the distance (which is a LOT of things in an open world game) look like poo on the PS3! Jaggies!
Xbox 360 has far superior anti-aliasing here, like most multi-plats. 4xMSAA is better than zero anti-aliasing.
It's pretty even though as i see the PS3 has a few better textures..
First screenshot - I'd say 360 looks better - the textures and anti-aliasing on the man look better and you can see skin pores etc. on his head where as on the PS3 it is just smooth.
