well it's obviously no secret that PC's are more powerful, but porting games from PC's to consoles is sometimes not the best thing for consoles, as it will always be better to develop for a single platiform if you want to get the most quality.
What I don't like about PC's is that there's new hardware coming out every 6 months, which makes it very inefficient since programmers almost never get to squeeze the most out of them, i.e. you can see the evolut...

Agreed, but also it says a lot about Microsoft's marketing strategies, their efficiency is above average. It's pretty clear that their target audience for Kinect is the casual gamers in the US.
I still think that if we look at the big picture, if gaming can attract a broader audience, in the end is beneficial to all of us gamers. Less politicians/idiots would bring up gaming "issues" (i.e. violence "caused" by gaming), well have a larger catalog of...
I love playing golf, was looking forward for a Move demonstration of Tiger Woods and have to disagree with you, I did notice that the player on the screen didn't make the same fluid motion as in real time, but the ball came off flying at the same time as the controller did.
So, no lag and EA has to work a little bit better with their game animations.

Very simple, 35 million users can't be ignored and I still think that they're starting to develop for the PS3 a little bit late.
Common sense and simple math, if developing for 14 million consoles (Xbox 360 numbers in 2007) was good business, then it should be better if they develop for 70+ million consoles (both 360 and PS3).
Oh come on dudes, Why would you want to move an electronic equipment while turned on AND running a disc?
I'm all up for testing stuff, but common sense dictates that this was unnecesary, I would be better informed if they did real tests (like power consumption, heat distribution, noise levels, etc)
Looks pretty damn good I might say, so maybe Microsoft is serious on going with the 360 for the long haul too... Which makes me happy because I don't have enough money for new consoles in the short term!!!
I would want new consoles to come out at least 4 years from now.
Regardless of any company's "thunder", I'm more excited to see new announcements that haven't even been spoiled as rumors.

Yeah, I think they're mistakingly refering to selling slower compared to the Wii, which in it by itself depends if on your point of view the comparison is valid or not.
If compared to previous Playstation iterations then Sony is doing just fine, specially when you consider that it had a higher launch price and its direct competitor launched a year earlier.
But I guess it's difficult to write and research at the same time.
Well, I would make a set of questions to answer before "plunging" into a console/platform that I don't currently own.
1. Do I have time to play additional games?
2. Do I have the money to buy a new console/platform and its games?
3. Are there games in the other console/platform that I'm very interested in?
4. Do I have friends that have that console/platform? (applies more so for online games)
5. Does the new console/platform ...
Is there a place to report this type of people in any of the online services (Live, PSN, et al)?
I don't think Xbox as a console brand will dissapear, wouldn't make sense since it's only their 2nd generation in gaming,
I think there's a disconnect and there should be a better definition of terms.

I would categorize them like this: (from best to worst)
1.- Gamers (enjoy every gmaing platform)
2.- Fans: fans of exclusively one console/platform but are respectful about other people's choices.
3.- Fanboys: defend their favorite console/platform regardless of logic...
