As a XNA programmer and user, it is not FREE. They charge you to upgrade so you can send your "game" to the 360. I was hoping Sony would do something in response to XNA, because I hate working for a system that I HATE! Windows games are pretty tight tho.
Mr. Playboy couldn't say it any better. I would boycott EA but it turns out i would have to give up football games which is something that cna't really be done.
This is proof though that SONY isn't JUST in it for the money, but they are in it for the advancement of gaming.

You are right, but how are 360's not junk. The 12-15% defect rate is rediculous. AND in reality it is higher than that. 3 out of 5 of my friends plus me have had to ship our 360's off. I finally just took it back to Best Buy and got HDTV instead... Sony HDTV infact.

We haven't tapped into the full potential of the Dual processors yet. Why would we jump to multiple processors if we can't come up with algorythms that only have two?
This is just like Microsoft to always depend on the consumer to pay for what they will not add on. They were able to release their system a year earlier than the PS3 due to the fact that they were not going to INCLUDE their HD-DVD and if they would have HD-DVDs would probably be the norm right now.
I would totally say move to Canada, but they just follow what the US does the conservative way. Sad thing is its usually better...

Yeah KK would be nice! I was so PO'ed when I heard the Matrix's were HD-DVD. Gotta get those on some Blu Ray!
Honestly, no one company is going to win with this single game. The only way is if the game stalls at a certain part (which is more likely with the 360 due to the failure rate). I am personally going to get it for PS3 first just because I trust it more. I will wait a week or so before I get it for the 360.

What problems were with the PS2? It didn't have a double digit defect rate. Sony's quality is second to known.

The only way to make a game out of a movie is to totally not make any litteral references of it. Don't say anything about the movie you are basing it on and just make it. The PERFECT example is Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Come on tell me that is not Indiana Jones.

There is NO such thing as ZERO Lag. Either Your ISP or someone else's will suck causing some lag. The only thing they can do is minimize it.
