Is this article really needed? It's stating obvious facts. Plus each platform has its own set of exclusives that people prefer over the other platform.
Checked times myself for comparison. The result the site posted are quite inaccurate. Probably modified the results to poke the fanboys into fits of "zomg xbox is super dooper awesome!". Shame they took the bait and didn't do proper research first

Probably in development for the NX. Until the system is announced the devs have to keep quiet on what they're working on (I assume)
They already allow crossplay with pc and wii (some chess game if I remember correctly), so it's a possibility sure. Doubt MS would allow it though. It would be the first steps to creating a unified gaming platform for everyone to play with/against
It's salty xbots creating negativity because Shenmue 3 won't appear on their console of choice. If it was multiplat then there wouldn't be any of these such articles
Why just Sony? The game is coming to PC too, so surely by your logic Valve should put up money too, as S3 will hit Steam. Where's the demands for them to put up money???

Agreed. As a backer who received the same email, it's clear the title of this article is pure flamebait, aimed at riling people up to further try and discredit what Ys Net are creating. The amount of negativity towards Shenmue 3 after it was announced for specific platforms was insane.
Exactly. But unfortunately not everyone will shame that sentiment.

I can't remember where I read it, but there's a team making a PS3 emulator for pc that's making decent progress. Maybe they could make it work on PS4 hardware?
