If the concept were executed perfectly I would love it, but as it stands now I find myself getting aggravated over having to repeat commands 2 or 3 times to get it to register and I don't even try voicing channel names, it rarely gets those right, why Microsoft didn't let you just say channel numbers is beyond me. On top of that it will just randomly throw up the rewind play fast forward toolbar at the bottom, and sometimes show hands on the screen moving around. I'm sure these ...

I thought all 3 were great with the 3rd being the weakest, but 2 was fantastic. That said Fable 2 and Fable 3 have both been free at some point, Fable 2 was free when 3 was coming out and 3 was free at E3 last year, one of the first games with gold games.

Grab a year sub around Christmas every year for around $30, the cost of half a retail game. How can anyone complain about this?

Remove the gamepad, bundle a pro controller and sell it for $199. I already leave the gamepad sitting on it's charger while I boot the system, quickly hit home and turn off the gamepad display so I can play with the pro controller.

Or if they insist on keeping the gamepad, why not add DS games to the virtual console? System is perfect for it.

I have a feeling though that they may exit the console space and just focus on the handheld, seems like thats wh...

I'd love this to be true but since the source is not the most "honest" person, I'll wait for an official announcement.

4.2 million sold has EA rethinking their Microsoft partnership.

Without plus it'll probably be pretty hefty, something like 9.99 a month. With plus I could see them halving that, so maybe plus and now for $100 annually.

I personally have all my old machines so I probably won't buy into it unless it's super cheap or has a robust library with added trophies, then it might be tough to pass on.

Colonial Marine coupled with shooter fatigue are enough to kill any hype for this game.

I think we can stop with the "random 3rd party won't develop random game on the Wii U" stories and just start reporting when a 3rd party actually decides to develop a game for the Wii U. It could cut down many stories to just a few.

Doesn't Microsoft technically have a 1 week edge on Sony since they launched before everywhere with the exception of the US and Canada. Or maybe the launch date doesn't matter as only the bottom line does, and that says Sony is outselling Microsoft by over 25%.

With the exception of FarCry 1, you can get them all on other platforms, so who cares about exclusivity?

4.2 million customers they don't get to have because they are too busy gobbling Microsofts knob.

What's really going to be interesting is if the gap continues to widen, how difficult is it going to be for Microsoft to secure 3rd party exclusives? Especially when they are far more reliant on them than Sony is.

Probably a standalone like blood dragon. And hopefully just as good.

Seems like a good idea to have a global sub model, however if they are going to charge a sub for essentially free to play games, then not so much.

Titanfall was leaked from Game Informer prior to E3. So while not entirely similar, they do seem to be getting exclusive release news.

@Death: Microsoft is in a sense a criminal in consumer eyes. The DRM fiasco just solidified that sentiment in most peoples minds. Removal of game ownership, controlling and limiting the resale market, all this was to fix prices to take more money from consumers. In other words legally stealing money from our pockets. And this is one of many attempts to do this, everything from introducing a monthly pay service to the advent of DLC. When has Microsoft ever given back to the gaming communi...

@Death: One person work a 40 hour work week, the other commits insurance fraud. Their goal is the same, make money, but the paths to get to that bottom line are polar opposite. That's how I feel about Microsoft and Sony, sure they are there to make money, but one is doing it the right way, the other.. not so much.

I have both, but if I had to chose one it would be the ps4 simply because I like Sonys promise more than Microsofts.

Sony has proved through 3 generations and 2 handhelds that they support their products through the lifetime of the product with great content no matter the circumstance.

Microsoft proved with the OG Xbox that they will bail in a second and with the 360 they haven't properly supported it for almost 4 years and abandoned the core trying to ch...

They were in the PS3 version as well, played a match and decided screw the plat. Like others I hate multiplayer trophies.
