On disk dlc hidden behind a toy paywall is DLC done right? Nintendo fans and apologists have sunk to a new low in defending the practices of their company of choice. Nintendo use to be the best about DLC and have since sold their sole and have become the epitome of what is wrong with the games industry. It's no wonder they are heading to mobile.

Yep, there is enough install base to support games now and we don't need last gen holding game potential back. Plus it's time to push the hold outs into the current gen.
INdie games are really trying to push that price up and without retail release they don't see nearly the sales of retail AAA titles.

The next quarter is April - June so not sure why you think there is going to be great exclusives when all that is scheduled for release is state of decay remaster and there certainly is no holiday period in this quarter!

The rumor started from a NeoGaf insider and has gathered steam thanks to the cod sale on PSN this week which coincides with the Black Ops 3 reveal this weekend. So the rumor should be confirmed or denied once the trailer rolls since it will have either PS4 or Xbox One marketing like what happened with Battlefront.

Based on the new show, which is excellent I might add, I can definitely see the potential. Using angles for his throwing sticks or things in the environment could be loads of fun. Using his heightened senses to hear around corners and avoid bullets. Seems like if it was done right it could work.
On the PS4 and handhelds yes, on other consoles, not so much.
Notice the chart is fiscal year 2013 and 2014 and is only factoring game revenue. Microsoft fiscal year is July 1st - June 30th where Sony does theirs April 1st - March 31st. That means these numbers for Microsoft ended last June and don't even take into account the price drop or fire sales from the last holiday so their revenue could be far worse than this graph implies.
