Am I reading it wrong? The title and the article makes me assume that the writer is talking about games that will have a game of the year edition, not that the games will win game of the year.
I think it's a just a poor choice of words. A most appropriate title would be...
"6 Games That Will Probably Have a GOTY Edition In 2015"
No Hydra from God of War? pfft
At the 17 position we got The Last Guardian for the PS3.
Ok then...
Oh of course not. GTA is so much more, that deep emotional story that the game is known for. /s
Let's look at the main characters of GTA V:
Michael. An alcoholic bank robber with anger issues
Franklin. The stereotypical afro-american gangster
Trevor. That one is the most adorable of the all bunch.
During the all game you get to kill, steal, and plan several criminal activities.
So yet this lame ass game, where you ...
@Dee_91 Again have you played Postal 2 and Saw? They are really violent games.
And in GTA V Trevor is a psychopath that rapes and murders people for the fun, and is loved and praised by a lot of people.
I've never seen so many stick up for such a lame game. There's no game story or strategy, you just shoot NPCs. But to each his own I guess
"Regardless, if you think that they could have done better, aimed higher, why don't you make a game?"
Because I don't know how to make a game. But I will remember to ask you the same next time I will see you criticizing a game. and yes those games aim a little higher than hatred. Because they push the boundaries of what is accepted or not in a video game. If it wasn't for many dev who made games more violent and with more adult themes, we would have game...
That would be awesome. It's truly a shame the way 3rd party devs been treating the Wii U.
Modern Warfare 2- The airport chapter
Carmageddon- You can kill pedestrians and animals
Saw- The purpose of the game is just to torture and kill innocent people
Postal 2- The all freaking game
And those are just the most well known. I'm pretty sure there are several indie games out there that show worst things that the ones I posted.
This game is just another mindless shooter. And the developers are trying to sell...
"Its smart that they didn't give the character a back-story since in order for it to make sense it would have to kinda justify the characters genocidal rampage and there is no way to justify it."
I still think it's a miss opportunity from them. If they did a game where they talked about a taboo subject about like depression, and what makes a man go on a murderess rapange and hate society, it would be a more interesting game. one of my favorite movies, The Da...
Just imagine. One player could be the monster on the VR headset, and 4 players trying to kill it on a 4 player split screen. Day one buy for me.
It would be nice a 4 player split-screen mode
Well that's disappointing. I had hopes that this game could had a deep story that might deal with themes such as depression or an undertone of how our society can lead a person to go on a murderous rampage. But I guess is just character killing for the sake of killing.
Well not for me I guess.
EDIT: Really? Maybe that's just me then, but I think it would be a good concept. Because just a mindless shooters is nothing new, like this game appears to be....
Fans of the game, and gamers who have missed it the first time, and might be interested buying it this time around.
I agree with the author
Refusing to sell a game isn't censorship nor is denying anyone their freedom of speech.
Steam its a business a private company....if they do not want to sell a game they do not have to sell it. They are not limiting the access to the market for the game. The game can still find a publisher. Or they can publish themselves. That is what a free market is...
"Xbox One in 2015: The big exclusives"
What a misleading title. Some of them are not exclusives, and there are games on that list that are not scheduled for 2015,
And if you do not have any interest in this game, that is perfectly fine. Just like Karl Slatoff, the CEO of Take-Two said "If you don't like it, don't buy it".
But one thing doesn't change, neither you or anyone in here ever played the game, or even knows the all the details of the game. So judging it so early, it's a little premature.
I never played Hatred so I don't know the all story to make a judgement on it. This game might have a deep story that might deal with themes such as depression or an undertone of how our society can lead a person to go on a murderous rampage. If so I might give this game a chance.
This game reminds me of Loaded. One of the first games I played on the PS1.
What a coincidence. My buy of this game is also suffering delay.
So how can anyone approve an article, if we can't read it?
It appears a malware warning when I try to open the link.
