Agreed, one is giving new experiences on a new console and the other is telling you to play your old games on new hardware. I have a PC for a reason. Xbox is now useless for PC gamers.
It's a competitive market. Xbox giving up exclusives for years is like giving up first place because they know they cant keep up. So instead they are just trying to make Sony villains.
Or I can just buy a PS5 and get high end graphics quality with high end exclusives.
They can only lead if people follow.
Good thing that are like 20 million fans, the game is gonna be commercially successful no matter what.
I think they will just have their own thing DURING the same time. Sony always said they hated E3s limited public attendance and rather have events where fans can truly experience what they have.

I think as a whole game TLOU was the best. Everything came together so perfectly.

I am almost certain they are upgrading boost mode to make i so PS4 games will play at native 4K and/or 60fps etc.

For the studio, i think the games graphics are solid. Nice physics and running at 60 it appeared.
Godfall was a nice indicator of possibilities and is from a new developer. I am sure E3 and such will be a nice time to see what the consoles are about.
I felt this gen was going to be more about physics and interactive worlds etc. How the hell are they gonna make a games world more interactive without gigs of patch work or overhauling engines.
