Who ever said consoles are dead was a complete idiot
Consoles are doing better than ever. That's all that matters.
This is exactly what the article is talking about. People making early assumptions that a game is going to be awful is just stupid unless, of course, the team has a big track record of releasing bad games (sonic boom).
@Sillicur
Thank you for understanding the games don't always need to aim at changing gaming. Sometimes making a good game is all you need.
I'm really hoping for next gen zombies!
What i don't understand is why games have to be innovative all the time? Cant they just have an amazing story, solid mechanics and gameplay and extraordinary graphics sometimes? Cause that is what the Order is portraying in my books. Yes, sure innovation is good for the industry but sometimes, typically for a studio who has never made a game this large, they can be safe and deliver a good experience without changing the entire genre or industry of gaming.

or free DLC?
The nice thing about DLC being reviewed poorly is that it makes less people buy the DLC, which leads to less sales. This hopefully becomes evident to devs and publishers and leads to less DLC.

Shouldn't bonuses be tied in with how well the games sales?
I feel like bonuses should be how much the game sells. If the game gets higher critic scores that usually correlates to it getting more sales. Then again there are games that have been very disappointing and still sell like hot cakes.
Its a beautiful looking game. You cant deny that.
The online was pretty unique and different. At least to me.
I hope that the games mechanics are better than its graphics
Reviewers need to rate games for what they are and not for what they think they should be.
"I think reviewers will be hard on it based on how reviews are today. I think they’ll dock points for not “innovating enough” or having ‘standard third person gameplay” or some such. Of course I don’t agree with this line of thinking if it ends up how it reviews."
hm

I guess I'm either optimistic or a cheap basterd : p
I tried it today and with my average internet it worked. Still to expensive though. I'd say take 75% off the price for PS+ members or more and maybe that will move people more. 5$ a month or 12$ for 3 months sounds significantly better to me.
This is of course my opinion which people may disagree with
I feel like you could make a really good story off this setting.
It sounds like they could start doing a streaming service to Tvs.
I have play the PS4 version and it doesnt look like that.
