Sounds like a PS4 game from the way he is talking about a huge step forward in Graphics.
Its clearly not PS3 as Nagoshi said he is done with that console.
Next Gen Samurai game sounds great.
This is gonna be big in Europe.
Hopefully it will push the Vita a bit.
Just because RE7 will go back to "Survival Horror" doesn't mean it will be great once again, the lack of horror was hardly the biggest problem of the last two main RE games.
The Evil Within is developed by an All-Stars team of industry veterans, helmed by a the Legendary Shinji Mikami. Good luck, going toe to toe with that, Capcom.
Nagoshi said he is done with the PS3, so this is most likely a PS4 game.
SEGA was rumored to have 2 PS4 exclusives anyway.
I don't want Infamous-lite, Uncharted-Lite, nor Resistance-lite. I want titles like Tearaway, Gravity Rush, and Soul Sacrifice.
kthx.
I thought Germany was pretty strict when it comes to violence and gore, and The Evil Within looks extremely gory from what I've seen. I hope the game won't run into troubles releasing there...
He says he "wants" the company to be the Pixar of video games (Aka a company known and recognized for their quality). Not that he says they are the Pixar of video games.
But eh, everyone wants clicks right?
If Mikami didn't give him another chance with the director seat, his career would've been probably ruined. But he went on to create on of the best games, ever. (DMC1, Okami, Bayonetta, VC)
Kamiya is a genius, but Mikami more so.
TW101 should be amazing.
Nintendo Direct is just a bit more elaborate Dev Dairy, how does that make it great marketing? Did you even see the number of viewers on the live-stream? You'd be a fool if you think it had any huge impact in terms of advertising.
Also, no, SEGA's marketing for Bayonetta wasn't exclusive in Japan, it got TV ads in the west ( http://www.youtube.com/watc... Promotional events with Maddonna...
If Bayonetta's marketing was horrible, then what makes Nintendo's marketing for W101? How is it any better?
Do you like to blindly throw words around? I'd like to believe you have an argument to back it up, other than pure fanboy bullshit.
No one said they aren't.
But to shit on SEGA for not marketing well, and then praise Nintendo for doing the same thing is called hypocrisy and pure fanboysim.
...lol
Yet we get comments like "NINTENDO'S GREAT MARKETING WILL SERVE PG GAMES WELL!" or "SEGA's SENT PG GAMES TO DIE!1!!!"
This is what SEGA's marketing for Bayonetta was: http://platinumgames.com/20...
Wonderful 101 got debuted in the backstage, after Nintendo's E3 conference. Yet a Nintendo Direct and some trailer is...
@CrossingEden
Maybe with certain elements, some games managed to come close.
But as a whole product, nah.
It might not be as scary, but its a classic alright.
I actually prefer RE4 over every other game in the series, its a pinnacle of game design, just sheer perfection, it changed the gaming landscape forever.
And not a single game tried to emulate it and succeeded.
If The Evil Within is half as good as RE4, then we're getting a great game.
Anything's better than a first party.
... Except SquareEnix.
I'm sorry, but this is one of the lamest articles I've ever read.
You might want to remove this before it get approved.
^ Because Shinji Mikami said so.
My favorite moment:

I never said anything about Y5 nor the HD collection.
Though there is still hope for their localization. Yakuza 5 is HUGE content-wise, so its probably a pain to localize.
