Gotta respect Bethesda for churning out some lengthy, single-player only games like Dishonored and (hopefully) Wolfenstein.
Yeah, they did.
I meant that the original Skies internal team is still there, so no need to give the IP to another developer. "Outsource" might not have been the best word.
No thanks, the original Skies of Arcadia developers (Also Valkryia) are still at SEGA. No reason to outsource the IP to Atlus.
As for Shenmue, it's too much of an undertaking for Atlus.
"On PS4, Ishin’s prerendered environments and slightly wooden character animations mean it looks like a high-end PS3 game"
Prerendered environments? What the...?
He either didn't play the game, or doesn't know what pre-rendered mean.
The previewer didn't know the game had Zombies before? I mean, the very first screenshots of the game showed Zombies.
And the gameplay footage last year had the player fighting off Zombies.
Don't act shocked if you didn't do your homework, Mr."Journalist"
@KingKelloggTheWH
The game's director (Justin Richmond) left with Hennig... The Director... Left. :/
Also, Hennig isn't just a "writer"... She was "Creative Director".
I'm not even an Uncharted fan and I know this.
EDIT: Why do I bother, it's N4G so everyone's gonna act like this:

Normally, that is true,
But when the two creative leads on the game (Henning, and another person) leave around the same time. This mean the creative vision of the game might be negatively effected/compromised.
The people who envisioned the game are no longer there to see it through.
It's absolutely a cause for concern.
It's 30FPS on all versions.
Dunno if the PC ver. is locked, though.
To be honest, it's not the type of game that will benefit a lot from 60 FPS... A slow paced horror game.
What outdated gameplay design and controls?
They were not impressed because the main character didn't react much to the world around him, and that some sections were more action-y than they expected.
No one complained about the gameplay design and controls... They didn't play it anyway.
Average? Nonsense.
Binary Domain is superb.
There has been a lot of positive previews from PAX... People just focus on the negativity.
Wat.
Also, IGN's main gripe is that the main character doesn't respond to the scares around him? Pssht...
No one played it, they saw it.
And not the "vast majority" at all (You must read GAF, huh?)
Here are some positive ones:

The difference between EA games and Metal Gear is that Metal Gear is actually good.
I think it's unfair to rate the FoxEngine based on MGSV. They are accommodating the PS3's tiny RAM and the X360's DVD size.
Once there's a proper next-gen game using it, I'm sure it will shine.
The lightning is already fantastic.
There is no "curse"... It's just boils down to how good the developer is. Not the publisher, not the IP... It's the developers... And they weren't good.
Creative Assembly is good. And Isolation looks great so far.
There shouldn't by any skepticism.
Not really, no.
Rome 2 might've been broken, but Shogun 2 wasn't.
And their past games (sans Empire) weren't either.
Don't forget Spartan: Total Warrior... That game was so good! (And very underrated, as well).
I can't understand people who are skeptical about this... The past Alien games turned out shit because of the developers... Not because of "SEGA".
P.S: This is the first in-house developed Alien game.
"Why was Resident Evil a success?"
Why? It's simple: Shinji Mikami and his team of elites.
(Who are working on the upcoming "The Evil Within", by the way.)
There is a reason why the quality of the series plummeted after RE4: Those dudes left.
Check the other reviews. Positivity across the board.
