Bungie may release a Multi-platform online experience that rivals it's old baby, Halo. I wonder if they can develop another IP that lives up to Halo...It'll be a real test of their talent. Or perhaps they'll forever be compared/known for Halo. For the sake of gaming/gamers, I hope this is not the case...
The Playstation 2 should be number 1. It arguably is the most successful console ever built; it should have replaced the PS3 on the list. For those saying the 360/Xbox should be replaced, your sad fanboys. The Xbox franchise blossomed into a powerhouse and established its self as a legitimate hardcore gamers' option to the Playstation franchise. Ultimately, this list was pointless.
Why? The 360 has been much more successful than the PS3. It has had a software-attachment rate double that of Sony/Nintendo combined. The PS3 stumbled out of the gate and let the Xbox franchise establish itself as a power house. You need to get out more, fanboy.

@toasty Wii invented it, MS made it seem more hardcore market, and Sony copied but most don't know about it or care/Sony should concentrate on keeping their 'network' up.lol I believe Sony also ever-so-modestly (in true Sony fashion)copied MS achievement system. Personally I think PSN is a horrible service anyways. Xbox Live costs money for a reason--Its clean, perfected, polished and secure. I just recall all the Sony kids bashing the MS kids about how "you guys have to pay" etc etc. Well, there gaming and your not lol
Personally, I would have thought a big player like Sony would have a much better MP network, as Xbox live was very polished even in it's early months of life.

A Halo Combat Evolved remastered (no new content, save MP) would be a huge success--everyone who loves Halo would buy it. Almost like a new game unto itself...
Ever hear of Zelda? Mario? It has worked out pretty good lol If done properly, milking has paid off. I feel Halo, so long as it's right from the tap (No RTS/side show games) --it'll be popular/sell. Question is, can 343 carry the heavy multiplayer tortch/quality that Bungie delivered. IMO Halo has been the finest/polished MP game to date (COD great too, but I prefer Halo) .

Its what this site thrives on. N4G allows these articles to go up (mostly a Sonyfanboy site) and they laugh as these puppets dance. There is no question that this is a Sony site, look at the 'all' tab of the site--all Sony Anonymous crap (like the rest of the gaming world cares). Even on the Pc tab, my preferred site, the Sony B$ spreads there.

The next snake adventure, if any, will be multi-plat. Does everyone forget the last E3? 'Rising' wasn't just a random title that happened to go multi-plat. The franchise did in it's entirety. Either way you cut it, X Box Live is the best online gaming service. Period. I only wish Pc gaming would have the mainstream audience consoles do. Its essentially only MMORPGS when it comes to online play.
