"i don't know why everyone is so excited about this!? "
What else there to hype for the 360?
Crackdown 2? More Halo? Multiplatform games?
That was about a C- troll.
50+ million people have bought PSPs for:
* The ability to play the entire backlog of PS1 games
* Both disc based and PSN Store downloadable games
* Graphics never seen before on a handheld console
* Streaming radio playback
* Music playback
* Movie playback
* Watching movies or listening to music from anywhere in your house or outside by the pool with the PSP wire...
"IS this guy the "too much variety" dumbass?"
My mistake, saying that he is doing the exact same thing.
Everyone can imagine just what the headlines from idiots like him in the gaming media if Microsoft just demo a live 256 player FPS title.
...
He wasn't glossing over anything. Just look at the other stuff the idiot has written. He knew perfectly well what he was trying to accomplish with this garbage.
64 player Resistance 2 was spun as "Sony showing off"
Ratchet and Clank was marked down for "Too much variety"
They tried to trash Killzone 2 for "Being pretty"
They tried to trash MSG4 for "Being just a movie"
Like so many people ...
"So there really isn't too much this year :( "
That was a joke? Right?
Never heard a single Playstation owner ever express any interest in this series.
If there are they will just play the game with better graphics on their PCs at home.
Why are they even still talking about this joke of a game?
After Kojima came out on stage and publicly disowned it and made it clear he has nothing to do with the project, just F-ing cancel it and put it out of its misery.
That is kind of true, but not in the silly fanboy way the author tried to imply.
Microsoft's conference was spectacular. Just not in a good way. The single big game they unveiled that was supposed to shock the gaming world turned out to be:
1. Multiplatform
2. Disowned by the creator of the series himself
Microsoft's conference wasn't just a spectacular failure, it was epic.
Heavy Rain is definitely not coming out in 2009.
Ratchet and Clank is Fall 2009
White Knight Chronicles is late 2009, I believe
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is September, I believe
Everyone has different tastes, of course.
But it hard for me to imagine anyone not buying Uncharted. The first game I've ever played that actually felt like you were playing a real live Hollywood blockbuster movie. And of course the insane graphics.
And Nathan Drake is easily one of the greatest main characters ever in video games. Half-tuck FTW.
Wow!
That is shocking news! The guy who trolls Sony forums spouting inane garbage about PS3 and Xbox 360 graphics and development...says he isn't 'convinced' to buy a PS3.
Sony has failed!
LOL!
WTF???
"I don't think it's fake... Just not all that impressive myself."
It's a cute little strawman to try to setup and knock down that there are 'fans of another console trying to deny the awesomeness' by people trying to hype this as anything other than just another motion control tech demo in a sea of similar tech demos that have been shown many times before.
No release date.
No games announced.
No games playable on the show floor.
Not...
Uh, it was someone in the gaming media who reported the Microsoft demo was faked...
"Quantum is such an obvious Gears ripoff"
No it is an obvious Kill.switch ripoff.
Just like Gears of War was.
Microsoft has to do something. They're one big game announcement was completely destroyed by Kojima the very next day. Right now they are coming out of E3 with nothing but me too motion controls that have no release date and no games even announced.
They are going to pay any amount to try to salvage their disastrous E3 showing.
Lame.
"Isn´t it 9Gig?"
Not even close. The 360's disc format isn't even 7 gigabytes. It's something like 6.8 or so.
You have to have nothing but sympathy for the Rockstar devs who had to gimp their game into the Xbox 360 disc format that was over a gig smaller than last gen's GTA games had. The lack of a standard harddrive to less the storage problem was just salt in the wounds.
That's the beauty of PS3 exclusives. 25 or 50 gigabyte BluRay and i...
