I was thinking about getting the Neo and just going all PC for xbox games. Then i thought do i really want to play xbox games with a keyboard and mouse? Microsoft hasn't gone all in yet on crossplay. They have co-op crossplay and thats cool but its not enough for me to leave xbox. And Neo in a year will overpowered by the Scorpio so i am going to wait this one out. I have a feeling Neo will not be 4K native if its launching this early?
Sony is going to launch in October and full year ahead of MS. I going to buy the Scorpio because it will it last more then 5 years at least and it can do 4K native.
We saw a study recently that proved MS releases their game lot faster then Sony does. Only hardcore PS4 fanboys would deny that.
I don't know why people are surprised by this MS is launching a brand new xbox holiday 2017, where people thinking they launch with no games for it? MS lineup at E3 was very good they're all games coming out in 2017 early/mid 2017
Xbox one slim is far better buy. It has 4k Bluray HDR player and can upscale games to 4K. I actually surprised MS is selling them for that price of 299 dollars, its a steal. And some games maybe even perform better with the xbox slim. Even though it was not made to be stronger then the standard xbox it has newer parts. Phil said gears 4 saw a slight performance bump from running on the slim. The controller with the slim has bluetooth a new feature and the slim has an internal power supply all...
Xbox fans next year will have the most powerful console, so who cares if its exclusives end up on PC.
Gamers who purchase the Scorpio will have the far better experience online and offline, then those gamers on the Neo.. Difference between the Scorpio and PC will be so small to care by next year.
And anyways xbox gamers will have more people to play with, hardly a disadvantage.
Why would they care about selling more consoles?. The goal should be to have more players playing their games wherever they want. Sony is only going to win something if 40 million people are buying their content and paying for online pay. They make nothing from hardware to even consider 40 million consoles sold a win. We should be looking how many people buying their games and pay for online.
When you buy a console from MS or Sony what happens next? Well you buy games. Thats why MS new strategy now is far more sensible one. Where before they totally depended on people buying a xbox and buying thier games. They now have another userbase on PC potentially buying their games. If they don't increase the userbase of xbox live it does not help. More people on xbox live the more people connecting with each other and better chance MS will release more first party content.
I don't think people get it yet.
What does MS want? Its want people buying software and paying for the services xbox provides. If MS just kept every xbox one game 'exclusive' they lose out with sales. Win10+ xbox one combo they will see more gamer's playing and buying their games.
Will some people decide not to buy a xbox and just upgrade to PC? Yes that could happen. But then they'll will be caught, because you have to upgrade to Win...
MS knows PC and PS4 gamers are likely to stick to the same platform then buy a xbox. Now with Halo 6 and Gears 4 on PC they got you guys playing xbox games and playing on xbox live.
What else is he going to say? They posted footage of all those games on their official channel. I see a noticeable downgrade to what they showed at E3
I'm sure we see new games for Holiday 2017 at E32017 with launch of Scorpio. They have a strong lineup right up till then lots of games coming out.

Filmicfps@. Latency and ping are far more important when you play online. A scorpio player playing at 60fpps and has a ping of 40+ and you on xbox one have a ping of 10+ at 30fps its more then likely you beat him the majority of the time online.
Wrong you can use voice commands with a headset it came with Windows 10 update. So why would MS need Kinect now?
60 million consoles why they not all playing on their high end PC's. Its a stupid argument that PS4 fans spew about on forums. The company with the best performing console is likely to capture the market. Scorpio will take over.
Xbox one games ending up on PC, why buy an xbox scorpio then?. Guys have you forgotten 80% + plus of the games that come out for console are third party games? If Scorpio is going to have a better looking cod or battlefield, why the hell, would people buy the Neo? And by owning the Scorpio you have similar graphics to a high end PC at A good price. I preferred Microsoft approach. They are informing devs now what their plans are openly and MS will be more prepared for the launch holiday 2017. We likely see new game reveals E32017.
Sony showed lot of games and they look great. But there not coming to PS4 anytime soon. Xbox will see a flurry of AAA releases right up till E32017 next year.
The Youtube footage here looks like PS4 footage. What it looked like at E3 looked way better than this visually. Nice looking game, but i too feel Sony was using a different machine at E3 to improve visuals and performance.
