Honestly I dont know what to compare resistance to. I feel like R2 may have been trying to take the call of duty approach, But the series has a style all its own IMO.
If for some reason easy was the only option, then yes. I always start games on normal. As long as I can still do that, no problems for me.

Metal Gear Solid games have always been open ended to some degree. An open world MGS sounds awesome IMO

Anyone else irritated by larry hryb? He doesn't do anything, I just hate his face. But as for the game, It looks pretty damn good. That and the fact that I've gotten back into black ops 1 makes me super excited for this game.
I don't think anyone said it was going to die. Honestly a lot of people who complain were just fans wanting some of the issues fixed. Fans like me. I was worried when I heard rumors of elite perks, but it looks like they wont have any pro perks at all, and it sounds like they are really doing everything they can to balance the game. I'm now looking forward to playing Black Ops 2 and Halo 4 this Novemeber.
