I agree. I do think hating COD is just one big bandwagon, and it's becoming the normal thing when actually people don't hate it. Just take it for what it is. Sure it hasn't evolved much since Modern Warfare but why fix an already good formula. I don't enjoy COD as much as I used to, for me MW3 and Blops2 were pretty annoying but it's still a good title for what it is.
It makes me cringe how greedy they have become. The main thing that annoys me about Capcom for me is how awful Resident Evil, which was my favorite franchise, has become. How did they get it so wrong?
I agree with the article, if my circle of friends/family is anything to go by then this gen will be one of the most popular yet, especially with China now fully in the game. Any how, we'll have to wait 5 years to see what happens, it's all just meaningless speculation at this point.
Xbox Live is a better experience than PSN on current gen (minus the amazing amount of free games you get with PS+) however I think things will change with the PS4.

Ah, seems like I did miss something then lol. But, at the end of the day, I have no idea what goes on behind the scenes regarding this game, and I don't really care, it will be a very good game, and I dont think the words of one individual should stop people from buying it.
I'm getting it too, day one :) Am I missing something, the hate for this game is just ridiculous! I don't think I have looked forward to a game as much as I am with MW2...the videos are incredible, and I dont think charging a few extra quid should be a good reason not to buy it, if you're going to be tight with your money then there's always bargains to look out for.

I just got my ps3 back yesterday after it wouldn't play any kind of disc. I looked at alot of the repair guides but it all looked to risky lol. It cost me £99 but at least I know it's being done by professionals :)

In comparison to what Sony has to offer in the coming years, that small list of potential games for Microsoft is nothing to brag about. Sony have a lot of exclusive big games coming out this year as well as next year...so Microsoft really need something to counter but I can see this drought continuing, unless they're hiding something...
PS3 controller always wins for me...my hands have more or less moulded to perfectly fit around a playstation controller where I've used one since the ps1, anything else feels weird. 360 controller feels much too big to me, to be honest...
