I've been watching countless videos of BF4 on Twitch, I don't think the problems are too huge for most people, and I'm pretty sure they'll fix it all soon. I'm definitely going to pick it up in 2 days :)

You also have to bare in mind that the PS3/360 is still selling quite well so B/C would really hurt sales. But yeah, I have no doubt they probably could implement it in the PS4/One, at a low cost. It's just not really sensible.

I don't really understand the appeal of the snap feature. Can you not just go home via the home button and open up the internet browser and then jump back into your game, that would take the same amount of time and you'll have the full screen. Or can you not do this?

Yes, I do agree a bit.
It stems down to the fact that people are spending hundred of pounds on a new console, and want to feel they made the right purchase by downplaying the other, when in actual fact most people would love to own the other console as well. It's not just Sony fanboys, I've seen some embarrassing stuff from MS fanboys too. In an ideal world you'd get both, so you can enjoy the best of both companies without all the fanboy rubbish.
