AussieGamer1 is so bitter about Horizon. It's adorable. He knows that Horizon was by far the best thing to come out of E3, along with that beautiful Uncharted gameplay, but he just can't bring himself to admit it since it's not on his Xbox One.

I did that too and was bored within an hour or 2. I think people remember them better than they were, to me now those games feel quite dated.

Yeah I have the same thing with the Xbox One. I have the money for it but I just can't bring myself to buy one yet, since most of the time their exclusives will make it to PC anyway. I'm quite content with my PS4/PC/360 I think.

This isn't even about backwards compatibility. Microsoft is supposedly offering backwards compatibility but that isn't stopping them releasing a remaster of just the first Gears Of War.

Get off your high horse. There are some huge open world games on consoles, try again. And good luck, you're going to be waiting a good while before you have some decent graphics mods, because that's clearly all you really care about. Meanwhile we'll be enjoying this fantastic game on our terrible terrible consoles.

Square Enix conference was basically Sony conference part 2.
People downplaying these 3 huge announcements are just seeking attention, Sony obviously killed it at E3, never have I been so impressed by a conference. And Horizon...that game was the icing on the cake.

Were people mad when Driveclub gave out all that free DLC? This fact got overlooked by the Microtransaction issue. So the same should apply here with Halo. Your argument is weak.

OT: yeah backwards compatibility isn't an issue, I have barely used it with my backwards compatible PS3, people will realise they have played and completed most decent old gen games and get bored of it. Meanwhile, I'm just going to play some new current gen games :)

Getting the permission from developers to allow people to play their old games, that's the sticky part. If Sony struggle to do that with PS Now, obviously Microsoft are going to have a hard time with this too. I can see a lot of developers blocking this.
People enjoy this "cash grab", millions of them in fact. Also, you might want to take a look at how much money Activision pump into Call Of Duty, I bet it's a lot more than you think.
