OT: Microtransations are an awful practice, just look at games like Evolve, and Starwars. People won't see them as a problem until devs start cutting out sections of your favourite games and charge you extra for them.

And they're going to keep the game at full price? You do realise game prices drop for consumers after a month or so, so the profits for Square will be pretty small some time after launch. That's why a successful launch is important.
In my opinion, the price of Tomb Raider will fall very rapidly, just as Titanfall did.
