That doesn't make it a 'hardcore' thing though.. that just makes it a reliable entertainment system. As the guy above me posted.. 'hardcore' imo is defined by how well the competitiveness the console gives out..

360 is featured in MLG, has a massive growing online community that revolves around the word, etc.

The reason games like Halo 3 have MLG tournies is because it has a massive tournament system within it. Letting you rank up, have clans, fight other clans, and do very, VERY competitive types of games.

The only reason why I think the 360 is somewhat more hardcore.. is because it is strictly used for gaming alone.. and is also used for official competitive reasons..
But, that doesn't mean the PS3 is not hardcore.
