I think it's funny for the fact you actually care about what game gets GoTY.. Not really sure, but I guess it just helps you sleep better at night. I play games for fun, not for publicity.

Actually I think it would be awesome if SONY and MS joined their gaming divisions.. There's still Nintendo to go against.

How about, instead of saying the same thing.. provide some PROOF that every 360 in the world has not actually been sold and is just sitting on shelves? Because saying something like this... LITERALLY means that. Sorry, but the 360 is around 25 million now, and you're going to have to deal with it.

That's the only reason why I haven't bought a PS3 yet.. I have about 30 PS2 games sitting here and my PS2 disc drive doesn't read anything, anymore.. Yay for the early versions of the PS2 that broke down like crazy.

Gears of War 1 was a niche game.. it sold over a million in like 3 days.. So that's not really a good excuse.

"And why not make it multiplat? If the game is a centered launch title on the '720' or whatever Microsoft chooses to name it, I guarantee it wont sell as many copies as Gears 1 or 2 did on the 360. Unless Microsoft spends money for another exclusivity deal for the third title, EPIC will want to make a move to make up for loss revenue from shifting consoles.
That or if it's still developed on the 360 (which it probably will be), why not release Gears 1 & 2 onto the Playst...
