Im thinking youre not getting it.
Xbox still has to prove that their studios will be able to dish out quality exclusives.
Playstation does not have to prove that since they already do.
Xbox has gamepass which is really trying to replace xbox live gold. In either version it is more expensive than ps now.
PS Now has an enormous library of quality ps4 exclusives as well as many other triple A games and tons of older games you cant play on x...
Not really unless you haven't had a ps4 all gen.
Better to wait for the ps5 otherwise.
Actually just traded my slim in for nearly $200 which I will put into the ps5 once it's available.
I've decided to leave the rest of my backlog for the ps5 to handle.
Anybody who makes a serious association between a rainbow six game and the "pandemic", coincidentally the most pathetic virus in the face of the earth, is just silly.
A video game has nothing to do with covid19.
Who comes up with these headlines?
I understand anticipation and all that but come on....there's other games releasing sooner.
Patience does us all a lot of good.
@luke
If rather be stuck with 1-3 AAA quality games then 1-3 AAA mediocre games and possibly spread throughout 3-5 years instead of every year.
You're also not stuck with paying $70.
I'm never paying 70$ for any game.
You and i must have a different sense of value. When I compared the enormous library on ps now to game pass....you're right no sense in comparing bc ps now wins hands down.
Debating...
There is no /s at the end of your comment. Might want to edit that in.
True gamers own their games..at least some.
You do realize playstation has ps now and ps plus...assuming they keep up the good offerings playstation gamers are gonna have definitely more than 2-3 games a year....the 2-3+ given number is solely exclusives...there's a ton of other games to play besides those. With xbox you're not even sure you'll get 1 exclusive to play any y...
I've had drift issues with my 2 ps4 controllers. I was able to somewhat fix one but the other happens randomly so it doesn't bother me much.
A digital subscription service in which you have to pay monthly for access and don't own any of the games is the greatest thing?
On top of that you still have to pay for another monthly subscription to play those games online.
Way to make it obvious whose side your on. Not gamers that's for sure. Anyone still remember when they doubled the price for Xbox live gold? That was not an accident. Not even a slight raise...they took what they had and Doubled It!
...
Really doesn't matter much. They all would've sold regardless.
I wouldn't say far more popular in uk.
There is absolutely no need for easy mode. Nor is there any need for hard mode either.
In games like the souls series there are things you can do to make the game easier and things you can do to make the game harder.
A curated experience is usually better than difficulty modes. Difficulty modes tend to be very superficial and uninteresting.
This is the problem with live services. IF they fail players feel betrayed and the company appears to be untrustworthy if they just drop support.
It made no sense for EA to support the project after launch. Learn from your mistake and dont launch another mess.
Okayyy....which xbox?
They're 2 completely different consoles. And indeed are kind of in 2 separate generations in terms of potential.
One is 300 and the other is 500. Very different targets.
Question is if either of the competing consoles can be found.
They're both in short supply during this "pandemic"
There is clear proof of mismanagement but there is yet to be any proof of intentional deception.
Otherwise refunds wouldn't have been offered how they were, they wouldn't be offering free next gen upgrades, free dlc similar to the witcher in scope, they also wouldn't have priced their game at 60$ and would have gone the famous anti consumer route of $70, etc.
They are one of the most pro consumer devs.
And what do you deserve sir?
It's fine to go most anywhere except those places that big tech and certain political parties don't want you to be in.
It really is barely a pandemic.
People die in millions from the flu but you don't hear anyone crying pandemic.
Covid as the sole diagnosis in an individual has barely killed anyone.
Is it okay then? Well only as okay as you are with the idea of the inevitable death we will all have to face eventually.
At the end of the day all devs and marketers are people...and people make mistakes and can also be downright deceitful.
Normally I've come to find that when you judge someone for any action it usually turns out that you do the same darn thing in your own way and just haven't realized it. Speaking for myself as well.
Best to give everyone second and third and fourth chances. Not good to put yourself on a high horse...it'll hurt more when you fa...
Remedy's recent success was Control. I do think its an amazing game but before that they had quantum break which i liked but can agree that it wasnt anything special.
They have potential but they seem to not be consistently great unlike other devs.
If I remember correctly you need to use money to get the rewards. In other words you still end up paying to get into the service. What is it exactly that you are buying? Movies?
