In FF13, there is an "easy" way to do battles and there is a "right" way. Easy way is simply to setup a traditional party of Tank/Healer/Damage-Dealer and using auto-battle to SLOWLY chip away at your enemy's HP. The right way is to take advantage of the paragon system and kill an enemy as fast as possible.
I see a lot people don't like FF13 simply because they decided to take the "easy" way, so they complain that battles are too boring because i...
lol. if you are really interested in using this technology in gaming, go buy an iPad
I would imaging staring at a display very close to your eyes for 5 hours cannot be very healthy.
If you buy a used game, technically it's the previous owners that took features away, not the game publisher.
It's common sense, second-hand buyers shouldn't expect the same quality and features as first-hand
I guess MS is feeling some pressure from Steam releasing on Mac. Now they probably cannot afford to ignore PC gamers any more.
I have played both FF13 and ME2 and enjoyed them both equally, each got 100+ hours of my time. (100 hours ME2 is from 4 playthroughs), but I think ff13 is more successfully because it appeals to both western and asian gamers while ME2 is designed for western audiences only, and ME2 being a Microsoft exclusive didn't help.
wouldn't feel right with all the blood & gore associated with most of those characters.
I don't think Valve can ever achieve monopoly since its biggest competitor is Bittorrent
This is a diablo clone, mouse REQUIRED
I'm really surprised it will even run on Mac. It's no small feat porting a directx game to openGL
compare to 360, this is kind of inevitable. Here is my logic:
since PS3 costs more to buy then Xbox360, it's a logical to assume people who bought it are willing to spend more money on gaming, that means PS3 owners would buy more games then Xbox360 owners if there are equal number of games released on both consoles. So in theory, by the time PS3's hardware sales catches up, PS3 will see a higher attach rate than Xbox360, but then again, the upcoming motion controls for both co...
I thought Resident Evil and Dead Space can be considered as success.
Edit: forgot to mention Metroid
No as good as mouse, but it's a pretty good alternative on consoles
for that price, I was hoping for Move + the navigation controller bundle, because Move itself only counts as half of a controller, so you would be paying full price of a controller for half of the product.
the law suite is only valid if the plaintiff had actually suffered damage, so it only applied to PS3 users that uses both the gaming OS and Linux LEGITIMATELY at the same time. Excluding those who tried to hack PS3 or plays emulated games, the resulting number is most likely less than 100.
So I don't think this law suite will get anywhere.
6 years of development = a lot of debts
I think the current review score means they will probably break even, but most likely will not make them rich
looks too much like paintings, doesn't give you the 3D depth feel.
Are they even real?
the demo promised a lot of potential. The review sounds like Capcom did not make any improvements at all since the demo.
I thought IE still holds the majority of browser market share, even if it's slowly declining.
I was a loyal IE user until Chrome won me over with its speed.
actually Sega All Star Racing is the real next gen Mario Cart with its cartoony characters, but this game does look more fun
