MGS4 is my favourite game, and even without Kojima I see promise in this title.
Looks good this far as an action game providing some more story on Raiden.
However it wont be a full fledged MGS experience I guess.

It is all Treyarchs and Activisions fault.
Somwhere during the developement of MW 2 Activision fucked up bigtime for IW, and now we got Respawn as a result.
No kotick tyrant ruling there.
Treyarch flat out suck, copy paste, cheap ass games riddled with technical flaws.
Ill stay away from COD from now on.

Gameplay and visuals blend pretty well.
Visuals is a direct part of gameplay character ineraction and movement for example.

That might SLIGHTLY be on the paper but if you put everything "4 year old" in to your cabin and run, say crysis Id say that the consoles do pretty well opposed to that performance.
Killzone, Uncharted and God of war will be superior because they are way better optimized.

I would want GT 6 to be 1 game.
GT 5 is amazing, but some small things didnt quite fit the rest.
Like the jagged hard shadows, the crowd of low poly or even flat people.
Some bad looking vegetation.
Standard cars.
Flat washed out textures.
Some tracks looks like remakes.
For gt6 make everything from the ground up, Ill be happy with 300 cars and 40 tracks if the quality is SOLID ALL the way trough the product.
Yeah, but it is kind of bad, because you will have to leave whatever you are doing to change the song and then go back to it through all the menus.

They showed of a UE 3 version with Gears 2, not UE 2.
But you are right that the fancy tech wasnt there in Gears 2.
BTW Framerate have nothing to do with an engine, I mean UE 3 can run a game at 60fps, or 600 if you want... Im pretty sure any engine can.
I disagree with your NOTE.
Hard Shadows have far better AA in Forza, but GT5 has more vibrant shadows. Play day-> night race and see what I mean.
Soft shadows looks amazing.
I think honestly Forza is a great looking game, and what Forza does better than GT is vegetation, AA and sharp ground textures.
Thats not to say that GT doesnt look a lot better, but Forza isnt half bad in my opinion

GOW 3 is GOTY IMO and I dont think It will match up to GOW 3.
And next year there is LBP 2, Killzone 3, TLG, Resistance 3, Socom 4 and Twisted metal.
